Since I'm Canadian, and since the T.A. site said it had "Asian, Vietnamese, Canadian" cuisines, and since I was curious as to what "Canadian" cuisine might consist of in Chau Doc, I set off to look for it.Never did find it, the address given is a beauty salon. So either the address is wrong, or the place just doesn't exist.

i come from where seafood is abound but we still enjoyed our dinner here. Since we dont speak their language they were very accommodating. True that some sevings are small.. Like the crab we ordered.. It was a small crab but because it was cooked to perfection we didnt have qualms about it but instead ordered another one. The grp beside us even shared some of their food with us. We paid abt $40+ and went back to our hotel very happy.

We ended up eating here after a lengthy walk round the neighbourhood looking at alternatives. The restaurant is well presented with helpful staff. a good range of drinks were available. There was a wide range of both local and Western menu options and the food was excellent. Recommended.

This restaurant has a fabulous location for views across this busy and fascinating river. The food is fairly standard. My friend wasn't too impressed with her order the first time round, though my spring rolls were delicious. Second time round though, the chicken proved very tender and made up for her disappointment at lunchtime.

Wir hatten keine Lust, uns nach dem Einchecken im Hotel Chau Pho noch groà etwas zum Essen zu suchen und sind einfach gegenüber ins "Ken!!!" gegangen.Auf den ersten Blick einfach möbliert, war das Restaurant gut besucht (fast ausschlieÃlich von jungen Leuten) und winkte beim Betreten an der StraÃe mit einer Vitrine voller herrlicher Meeresfrüchte.Ein relativ gut englisch sprechender Kellner brachte uns eine englischsprachige Karte und wir entschieden uns für Frühlingrollen und danach den Hotpot mit Seafood.Es gibt wohl zwei unterschiedliche Brühen für dieses Gericht. Wir entschieden uns für "spicy", allerdings war das schon ganz schön heftig ;-)Nach den ordentlich gemachten Frühlingsrollen brachte der Kellner die Brühe zum Selberbruzzeln und eine riesige Platte, gefüllt mit unterschiedlichen Suppeneinlagen: Gemüsen, Kräutern, Pilzen, aber auch jede Menge Scampis, Tintenfisch etc..Zusammen mit diversen Bieren (je 14 Dong) und Softgetränken (je 15 Dong) bezahlten wir 367.000 Dong, also gerade mal 14 ⬠zu zweit, zuzügl. Trinkgeld!Nicht nur wegen des günstigen Preises, sondern v.a. wegen des hervorragenden Geschmacks (wir aÃen später noch einmal Hotpot, der auch gut war, aber nicht an die Qualität im Ken's heranreichen konnte) vergeben wir gerne wohlverdiente 5 Punkte.

I was looking for a restaurant close to the hotel when a cyclo-taxi driver recommended this restaurant to me. There weren't too many people there at the time.I had beef with vegetables with rice and a tiger beer. The price was just $5. it was tasty and dinner was peaceful without too much noise from traffic. Service was goodI had a good dinner there.

I did not realise that Korean food is so spicy. No alcohol is served we bought beers next door and brought it in. The menus must be reprinted both the pictures and the words are too faint to see anything which makes it difficult to order

Troung Van had a local flavor, was located near the night market, and half the people in the restaurant were backpackers (probably thanks to Trip Advisor). Actually, the restaurant was packed, and most of the patrons were Westerners (and not all backpackers), with only one or two large Vietnamese families. The menu, as you might expect, is in English, and the tables and chairs are probably a concession to Westerners. We had spring rolls, fried rice with egg, and a shrimp dish. The food wasnât bad, but as I noted at the time, it was the âmost mediocre mealâ we experienced in two weeks in Vietnam. Safe choice, relatively cheap, but donât expect much.
