Loveley Hotel

hotel location is great, close to the center of Akyaka and only 3 min away from the beach by foot. The hotel manager Mr. Erdal made us feel familiar and the stuff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and hygienic. So ist was a pleasure to stay in this fancy boutique hotel. The delicious traditional turkish breakfast was served at the Golden Roof restaurant, which is 15 m away from the hotel. We enjoyed Mom`s handmade marmelades, fresh scrambled eggs, honey and other excellent selections. Because the restaurant is nearby the street it can be noisy during the weekend. In overall we will come again.

Great Location

Reviewed By Amy088

This hotel is in a great location for exploring Akyaka’s beach & town. We had a warm & friendly welcome but unfortunately the accommodation is lacking. Beds are very hard & uncomfortable, no bottled water or coffee in the room & Sunday breakfast was very limited (as a non-dairy eater I was unable to eat most of it). However, the pool area is lovely & the price is low.

not worth the money

Reviewed By Skye G

While the hotel and rooms are nice and modern and confortable enough, the service, except for the breakfast, was not good. The room was not very clean and missing or out of several amenities. However, the worst part was the front desk service. After making a reservation online, then entering the hotel an hour later, i was waiting several minutes for any one to attend to the reception desk. Then when a guy finally came, he looked at me as if i wasn’t worthy of this hotel(i’m probably not, but i’d paid anyway) which made me a littlw angry to begin with. I told him i had a reservation and he looked even more upset that i had evaded his prejudgement of me and/or that he had to do his job. He didn’t say welcome or anything friendly, just asked for my passport, processed the business without a smile or hint of customer service charm(which normally i’d appreciate, but not at a 90$ a night hotel), handed me the key and told me breakfast starts at 8. I thought ‘wow’ based on that exchange i wish i could cancel the reservation. Through my stay i never saw anyone ar attention at the front desk, nor did anyone answer the reception phone when i rang it. Oh, and i guess even worse was the kinds of guests here. There were luxury cars parked at the foot of the stairs of the entrance to the hotel so tight that one could scarcely leave enter, and i think i saw these self-important pricks at breakfast being rude to the breakfast staff. Breakfast was fantastic though!

Almost everything was terrible

Reviewed By Nelson A

The bathroom smelled bad (the staff said it was because the room was closed for a while, but that was not true). Most of the lights didn't work and the mosquito net was torn. I reported all this the very same night we arrived and they mentioned they would take care of it the following day but they didn't do anything. The minibar smelled like fish. The quality and taste of breakfast was bad. By 09:00 it was almost over and the staff was having a hard time to replenish it. The only good thing was that although not exactly located in front of the sea, it had a view to the sea from the room.

Very unhappy with the way we were treated by this hotel chain

Reviewed By fionad48

In September we were due to stay in a villa in Akyaka - we booked into the sister Hotel to this one -the deluxe but they are both owned by the same people. We arrived off a late flight in the rain to be told the knew nothing about our booking.com reservation - however after many phone calls we were showed a room. First if all there was no parking, the hotel is new and surrounded by mud and rubble, there was no zapper for the air conditioning which did not work very well, no hot water, no bottle opener in the in bar to open the cold water, I nearly broke my neck on the very very slippery bathroom floor - and then the villa rep came to tell us we could not stay in our chosen villa the following day because the ceiling had come down in the rain storm. The next morning as we checked out I told the receptionist quite categorically and showed him my paperwork that we would not be coming back on 27/09 because we would be 120 miles away. They made no offer of breakfast although we had paid for it so we had to go into town and pay for another breakfast. When we got home we found that the hotel had taken £100.38 from by bank account for the night of the 27th which I had cancelled. Booking.com refused to help, my travel company tried to rectify this by going to the hotel and still they refused to refund the money saying I should have done it in writing. How else are you supposed to cancel a booking unless it is with hotel reception. We were in a lovely little village with very sketchy internet and I felt I had done my best to cancel the booking. So I am now £100 short because of their disorganisation. Beware.
