Reviewed By Thomas BThis is the second time I have stayed here and for the obvious reason that I absolutely enjoyed the first time. This a full service establishment that includes restaurant, bar, live traditional German music as well as other amenities that include pool, spa etc.

Wonderful Wellness Experience
Reviewed By ennio09My wife organized our wellness weekend here and although the weather was really bad we had a great time. The service and the food where excellent and the view is worth coming here. But the best is the wellness experience. Not because of the dimension of the wellness area but because of the treatments and sauna essences. We will come back as soon as we can.

Blood spattered walls, holes in bedding and filthy lampshades
Reviewed By Win1MWe were horrified to see blood spattered walls, black insect faeces on the lampshades and holes in the bedding. We stayed two nights and they couldn't even be bothered to clean the room whilst we were there. To top it all someone stole my hair straighteners and case from our room. It was disgustingly filthy and the owners should be ashamed of theirselves. The only upside was the view, which the owners obviously rely on to attract people to the place. I took photos as proof of how disgusting the place was.

Reviewed By GinaK471I spent 5 nights in the 'Gästehaus'. The bathroom was not very modern and not as clean as it should have been. The room was fine but the sheets and pillow cases were not changed during this time. I was with a group of people on a coach trip so we had our meals in a special diningroom. The food was good and the drinks were not expensive..

Very, VERY pleased by this charming hotel
Reviewed By LoicCarretI spent one night there on a trip from Vienna to Switzerland. I was very pleased by the warmth welcome and kindness of the owner. The place is absolutely quiet, I slept very well, on a high end bed from one of the best bed maker. It is absolutely clean, the bathroom has both a big shower and a bathtub. The view on Salzburg and the valley is great, just like the breakfast (coffee is made with a Jura machine, I own one, it's one of the best). The only thing that was a bit disappointing is the lack of thick curtains to keep the room in the dark, so I woke up because of the sunlight, but I told it to the owner who says she's going to change them. I will definitely go back there if I'm to go or make a stop to Salzburg again. Be aware of one thing: there is a different hotel just down the hill with almost the same name: this one is the Reiter alm ANSITZ.

A Good Choice in a Quiet Place

It is situated in a quiet location ca. 8 km kilometres form Ainrang and a good starting-point for the exploration of the area including Salzburg and Bad Reichenhall. We were given a large room on the 2nd floor as requested. The furniture was in a light brown and quite modern. This was also true for the bathroom. From the balcony you had a wide view of the surrounding meadows and forests. But there was no fridge. The TV worked without problems; the same was true for the wireless. The staff were very friendly and particularly breakfast was of very good quality. The price-performance ratio was adequate. The only disappointment was that an e-mail addressed to the hotel remained unanswered.
