Stop searching for your ideal hotel in Crete and book the Elia Agia Marina hotel now, you will not be disappointed. I spent a considerable amount of time searching for the 'idilic' hotel for my family to stay for a weeks holiday in May and decided upon the Elia Agia Marina and I was not disappointed! My wife and I, together with our my two children aged 9 and 11 years absolutely loved the hotel, it's the facilities, the friendly staff, superb hospitality and its location made our holiday. We were collected from the hotel with a complimentary transfer that made the start of our holiday seemless and stress free. We were greeted by the nicest hotel managers and staff who throughout our stay could not do enough for us. The cleaners were amazing and made different animal's out of our towels each day that our kids loved! The waiting staff were so attentive, nothing too much to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. We had a Maisonette which had two bathrooms and enabled our kids to have the top floor and allowed us to relax knowing they we safe above us. The rooms are very modern and extremely clean with quality mattresses and bedding that all seemed very new. The entire hotel is so clean, fresh, modern and with a chilled vibe. Breakfast is great with a fantastic variety of food, something for everyone and excellent quality. It is buffet style and you know that before you go so no point complaining once you get there! We ate at different restaurants in the evening for our first few nights, the food was good but a little pricely at places. We then ate at the hotel and the food surpassed everywhere else, the Elia Agia Marina Hotel menu is excellent. The food is cheaper than elsewhere, portions larger and quality better, outstanding ( especially the sea food sourced daily!). The pool is not huge but again we knew that before we went, but it was more than sufficient for what we needed and hey, there is a huge beach with crystal clear blue ocean a couple of steps away!!!! Would we go back, definitely, would we recommend, absolutely! If you want a hotel with all inclusive buffet style food each day and lots of pools don't stay here, if you want a clean, classy, modern hotel with chilled vibe, excellent food and outstanding hospitality with the best location.... book Elia Agia Marina Hotel! Loved it.

Seagull hotel Seagull hotel is located only 50 meters away from the sandy beach of Aghia Marina in Crete. The recently renovated rooms have been decorated by the traditional island style. In-room amenities include new bathrooms - in some water massage - air condition, safety deposit box, equipped kitchenette with hot stoves, fridge, coffee maker and equipment that facilitate meal preparation. There is also sitting and dining area and in some separate bedroom. Rooms are daily cleaned and provided with good quality local supplies The hotel provides free Wi-fi, balconies with view to the Cretan sea, the pool or the village of Agia Marina. Breakfast is served at the roof garden, where you can find two flat TV screens and a computer to use, free of charge. There you can enjoy coffee, drink, cocktails, light meals until late at night and admire the sea view. Next to the hotels there are many restaurants, taverns, bars and shops. The picturesque city of Chania and the old port is only 9 km away. The International Airport of Chania is located within 17 km.
Be really, really careful with this place
Reviewed By davidmG7323UBMy family was unable to travel and I just missed the cancellation deadline, cancelling the next morning when we found out that we were not able to fly - and five days before our holiday was due to start. The Seagull charged us for the whole week in full, equivalent to 1,000 Euros. They also tried to charge me for 28 breakfasts! I have never encountered this level of ruthlessness in 30 years of travelling, a really terrible way to treat guests in these uncertain times. My booking agent tried to talk to them, but nothing.I would not recommend staying at the Seagull simply because they have such a mercenary and dismissive approach to their guests. Very sad.

Reviewed By Join1977All was perfect! Location, room, staff, I have no words! Rapid check-in, easy to access our room (Superior double, pool view - bonus a little sea view). The room is very big, one king size bed and a sofa, fully equipped kitchen (fridge, toaster, water heater, electrical stove, plates etc.). Superb and big balcony with 6 chairs and a table. Room was cleaned every day, towels changed every two days. I have no complains, quiet, clean and very friendly. Thank you!

Perfect hotel and location
Reviewed By vickylou20Lovely little stay for the last week of our holiday. Hotel was in a perfect location, few minutes from the beach, 5 minutes away from main strip and 5 minutes from the old town. We had a one bed apartment, very spacious, clean and great views of the sea (we had apartment 28 on the corner). Kostas and the bar staff were so friendly and helpful if we needed any information. Bar food and milkshakes were delicious. Pool was kept very clean and areas around the pool. One think we loved was the pool was open till 1pm so the kids enjoyed a late night dip in the heat wave! Very relaxing holiday and would love to return and so much of the island still yet to see. We traveles to elafonisi and falasarna beaches from here. Thank you kostas for a lovely stay!

Il nostro era un appartamento di nuovissima costruzione, con tutti i comfort possibili, bagno un po’ piccolo a mio avviso ma eccezionale, doccia ampia e getto d’acqua a cascata la adoro !! Non ho dato il massimo alla recensione, perché sicuramente tutto bello e posizione strategica, ma troppa tecnologia in stanza, si poteva addirittura accendere o spegnere le luci e l’aria condizionata da un i pad presente in stanza. Troppo per i miei gusti. Ottima colazione internazionale che si fa al lilium hotel dalle 8am. Consiglio il lilium market con personale molto cordiale e amichevole, praticamente è lo stesso gestito dell’hotel.

Reviewed By leytonb2017xSuites is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are so spacious, modern and luxurious...free Spotify, Alexa and a Hot Tub! Things like free bottled water every day is also a great touch. The pool area is small but really nice and quiet and has great areas for both sun and shade throughout the day. Location is amazing too. Right in the heart of Agia Marina which has amazing restaurants...and only a taxi ride away from central Chania. We also did great day trips to Balos Beach and Samaria Gorge. The breakfast included in the room price is also fantastic as each morning you get delivered a great platter (slightly different each day) of amazing pastries, fruit, eggs, Greek cold meats and cheese, Orange juice, Coffee and toast. Either served on the stunning rooftop or to your room. Staff were excellent too and were so so helpful. Definitely recommend.

Lovely place to stay
Reviewed By julesandsiMy daughter and I stayed in block B, our balcony looked out onto the pool and could even see the sea. Apartment was very clean with good facilities. It was cleaned every day, except Sunday and the sheets and towels changed regularly and the cleaners were such lovely ladies. The beds were extremely comfortable too. The apartments are very well situated, very close to bus stops, little train stop and beach, bars, restaurants etc... The staff at the apartments were lovely, very friendly and helpful. The pools were both excellent, we preferred to use the lower one, just because it was nearer to our apartment. There was a good library area in reception to exchange books. We were even allowed to stay in our apartment as we had a late flight, for a small fee. Unfortunately we forgot to empty the dressing table drawer and left my daughters belly bars there.....Other than that a perfect holiday!
