Reviewed By Mondo47I found this little gem last year. Attending an American Car/Rock and Roll weekend at the adjacent Park Strand Camping. Basic, but clean and comfortable, accommodation, very friendly staff with, unfortunately, no English and continental breakfast provided. Virtually empty for the same period last year, it was very well attended this year. Maybe because even the event organiser had not been there. Ample secure parking and virtually unused roads if the car park is full. They now have there own Facebook page. When I arrived this year, having organised by email and Hungarian speaking friends, I was greeted like an old friend and made very welcome. Payment is in cash only , but with a very strong exchange rate, more advantageous then bank/credit card payments. The only, very minor, drawback is the closeness of the main railway line with frequent trains. However, after an exhausting day, did not stay awake long enough to hear them. Park Strand Camping, on Lake Valence, with all its facilities is only two minutes walk from the hotel, across the railway track.

Reviewed By István Abelardo KThis hotel was 3 * fifteen years ago, nothing changed which is not problem but the price is way too high for this service. The place is very far away for 'everything'. The breakfast was on a very low quality, it is could be better if everyone got 'ration, and not all you can eat. Not recommended this place.

Coolest reminder of the Soviet era
Reviewed By MnnynyThe place was super clean and the staff was super friendly and accommodating The decor reminds you of the 1970s Soviet era. I hope they don't change it. It's the last of its kind. I would highly recommend to everyone who wants to experience what old Hungary was like before the Wall came down.

Non al top ma ottimo prezzo!
Reviewed By marmakaSono stato una notte in questo B&B, la signora che lo gestisce è anziana ma molto sveglia, parla abbastanza l'inglese. La stanza sembra arredata con poltrone vecchie ed il letto non è particolarmente comodo. Non viene data colazione, però c'è un piccolo cucinino sul pianerottolo, in comune con le altre stanze. Rapporto qualità\prezzo buono.

Reviewed By Frigyes VRemek elhelyezkedése és a névadó, középkategóriás magyar borászat ellenére nem barátságos és nem komfortos szálláshely a Simon Panzió. A hasonló, szőlőültetvények közepén álló szálláshelyek mindenütt a világban a minőségről, az igényességről, a vendégekről szólnak. Sajnos ez a gyönyörű magyar Velencei tó közelében nem valós recept. A panzió adottságai ellenére unalmas, szürke, már-már rideg a miliő. Túl egyszerűek a szobák, a minibárban pénzért kínált saját borok sem feledtetik a kopottságot, a nem záródó ablakot, a leeső zuhanykabin-ajtókat, a gyenge reggelit (amelyet elfogadhatatlanul vontatottan töltenek újra, ezért sorba kell állni). Az ár/érték arány csapnivaló, egy akciós árú 4 csillagos hotel nem sokkal kerül többe Magyarországon, félpanzióval, mint itt egy szoba reggelivel (kb. 15-16 ezer Ft). Láthatóan a bevételmaximalizálás lehet a célja a tulajdonosnak, de az is lehet, hogy szakszerűtlen a szállodavezetés. Nem ajánlom a helyet.
