To be completely honest, the exterior made me very suspect...but it was delicious. 4 of us each had the filet...all very pleased. In terms of sauces, they come on the side but:The peppercorn and mushroom were the best. The Z was sweet and unique but not my favorite. Fries tasty, and ratatouille decent. Wait staff friendly and super helpful. Charcuterie: prosciutto, cheese, fries, 2xhams, onions, pickles.

Not the most welcoming place, however, the drinks are a good bit cheaper than the friendly bar next door. One needs to take into consideration that it was Ramadan during my visits. The first visit, I enjoyed a Casablanca beer 25% cheaper than El Toro, my partner had a standard draft that was on par with the beer at our all inclusive hotel. We were also given a nice tapas free of charge. The second visit, same drink, no tapas and not as friendly.The restaurant has a decent sound system so you can enjoy the music whilst letting the world go by.

We when to maxwell 10years ago the food is exalant so when we came back we were clad it was still there the owner remberd us as did the staff the food is still as good we whent there every night well worth the visit from m&d Manchester

At the first sight, the pool lounge looks beautiful and very inviting. Then, you will notice the equipment, such as umbrellas, seating, or tables, have passed their prime time. Sometimes, it was just horrible to sit on a broken pool chair.The waiters are understaffed, so you will have to wait more than an hour until somebody might ask you for you order. The preparation takes depending on your order. To my surprise, drinks took up to 45 minutes, while pizza and waffles have been served within 30 minutes.However, 45 minutes for a drink/cocktail? This is not a professional bar, this is rather a lemonade stand. Also, there was an incident at the pool, I have never experienced before: I was staying a week the five-star hotel, but the waiter asked me THREE time whether I am sure about my name, and whether this is the hotel I am staying at. It was unbelievable!!! In total: the pool lounge bar is not adequate neither in equipment, nor in service for a five-start hotel. Postscript: after I have massively and vigorously protested about the poor and humiliating treatment at the pool lounge bar, the manager of Sofitel has apologized in writing for the poor service.My next stay will NOT be the Sofitel in Agadir.
