Staff are as always amazing.. we left feeling like family. Thankyou to Monique, Sonia & Jamal for making us so welcome.

We checked out this morning, and as we left my wife said to me she has never in her life had such good service at a hotel. I agree with her 100%, the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, they really made our stay. If we ever return to the island we wouldn't look at staying anywhere else. Thank you so much for a great holiday.

Not on your Nelly

I booked for 8 members of my family to stay at the time out hotel. We where scattering my husbands ashes in Barbados so this hotel was one of two booked! The restaurant service at the hotel is diabolical, not one breakfast, dinner or evening meal was correct, it took ages to come out and on occasion had to ask if they had forgotten us! The staff where rude and had a ‘don’t give a damn attitude’ The reception/ front desk where polite and friendly but failed to tell us about our transfer back to the airport so we ended up double booking. I Will never use this hotel again, no communication, no customer service and not a care in the world

2 great weeks in the sun at The Southern Palms on Dover beach

We really enjoyed the hotel - near to the gap , great food and service well priced. Very safe area no issues at all. A square just opposite is good for breakfast and drinks with entertainment most nights. I had no issues with bites and my wife had the odd one on the beach . Our rooms were super looking at the pool with a beach view. Must mention all the staff who worked so hard to keep the hotel and grounds and pool and rooms so clean. The pool guy (Rodney I think) whom was a very nice chap worked tirelessly from dawn to dusk . I would definitely stop here again. Some good restaurants near buy Premo and Harlequin super food . Did the show the jeep trip and the cat sail/swim with food all super. Visited Carlisle bay lovely place used the small bogie buses a great experience. Went to the fish fry twice great food and you get to mix with the locals. Also swam with turtles ever day in the sea straight outside our hotel.

Pleasant fortnight

We had a lovely 2 weeks here. The suite was spacious and clean, but a little tired. Our net curtains were ripped and our shower doors would not stay closed so we had to prop them shut. The bed was huge and very comfortable and the kitchen was really well equipped. There was an icemaker in the freezer for those homemade rum punches. There is also an iron and ironing board. The air con worked very well and was enhanced by fans in the lounge and bedroom distributing the cool air. It was very quiet but only a short walk to the shops and bars etc. The beach was lovely and clean and there were always plenty of sun loungers. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again and I would ask for my same room 316 if the shower door was mended and the curtains replaced.

Easter Vacation 2022

Reviewed By gianial2022

This was our second trip to Sandals after an amazing time at Sandals Antigua. The service at Sandals Barbados doesn’t compare to Antigua. Pros/Cons Food: the food were very good. Especially Butch’s steak house, The Indian restaurant Bombay. They were the best. Kimonos wasn’t as tasty and three of the restaurants served the same menu items for breakfast which was a disappointment. We weren’t able to try all of the restaurants due to our short stay. Room: we stay in an ocean view club level room. The room was always clean and tidy. But the bed was uncomfortable due to the fact that squeak a lot. Every turn you make, it squeaks, it was so noisy. The bed need fixing or change out. Also the sofa was a bit hard. Ground: this was beautiful and well kept. Only issue was the noise from the power washing machine the guys were using during the Easter holiday. When you are on vacation, people don’t need to hear noise constantly. We love the infinity pool on the roof. Entertainment and the staff was ok. We enjoyed the bowling alley. George our bartender at Butch’s chophouse made a delicious drink for my partner. He was such a friendly gentleman. The European manager in charge of the resort was also very nice and kind. Most of the employees were courteous but unfortunately on our last day kinda mess up our check out to the airport. Our concierge wasn’t available went we checked out. Since our flight was leaving earlier that their usual checkout we informed them of this but the other girl kept on saying we will get to the airport but she never called anyone to take us. We had to go to the counter that dealt with the regular guests and that woman was so helpful she called a taxi for us so we wouldn’t miss our flight. Overall our vacation to Sandals were good. We enjoyed quite a few other things. Coffee machine and swing in the lobby area etc. But it could be amazing with some improvements. We will definitely be going back to try the other sandals resorts in the Caribbean.
