Very Nice Place in the Country
Reviewed By rldonovanWe were seeking a B&B that was near the mountains and near small villages. Casal Cominium was a very good solution. The family is very friendly and understanding of our extremely limited Italian. Their son, who was almost always there, spoke English. We were greeted with an offer of tea and home-baked pastry and were made to feel very welcome. The breakfast was fine and included a number of home-baked pastries, coffee, tea, and too many other options to list. We had the room known as Vittorio de Sica and found it to be large and quite comfortable. The family guided us (we followed their car) to a good restaurant and also showed us the nearby town of San Donato Val di Comino. There are a few things that should be noted, although we did not consider them negatives. The room was up an outside stone stair that could possibly be a problem for some, since it was not as smooth as some stairs. Also, we found the house readily using a Tom Tom, but there are no signs, even at the house, so we were not sure when we had arrived. The hosts noticed the car and told us we had arrived. The place is down a small, unpaved road, so a few signs for encouragement as well as information would be helpful. Overall, highly recommended.

Reviewed By Alfie DOur stay was very relaxing. The surroundings were beautiful. We didn't want to leave. We had a cozy apartment with a with air conditioning and a walk out balcony. Our hosts Elizabeta and Giuseppe were perfect and Marissa (the local dog)welcomed you as well. I don't think she barked once the whole time we were there. If you are looking to stay in the area il Brucco is the place. We will definitely visit again. Ci vediamo presto Elizabeta and Giuseppe.

Celebrate family heritage and feast
Reviewed By le0ne416Room was fantastic, people were helpful and there for us at all times. Food was excellent. Beautiful and convenient for us to reach the town for celebration of the feast. There is a pool for relaxing after much walking. We were with cousins and we were visiting the place where our family is from. At night we all got together on the property and shared food of the region as well as wine. The workers accommodated us and supplied us with what we needed. They never closed down until all guests were settled. We were able to celebrate and we were made to feel at home.

La scelta dei mobili, dei dettagli dell’arredo denotano un gusto e charme che ci ha conquistato. Il giardino è davvero bello, soprattutto la sera con luci, candele, incenso profumato e sottofondo musicale rilassante abbiamo trascorso delle serate fantastiche immerse nella pace del fresco serale. Isabella la proprietaria è stata fantastica, ha curato ogni dettaglio del soggiorno e ci ha dato tanti consigli sui posti da visitare. In giardino poi è presente una vasca idromassaggio dove rilassarsi e guardare la bellissima vista sul borgo. Consigliatissimo, sicuramente torneremo per alloggiare nell’appartamento grotta Spa che anche sembrava bellissimo

Reviewed By Fabrizio PPer un evento sportivo siamo stati ospiti di questa casa per una sola notte,ma ci è bastata l'accoglienza della signora e la confortevole mansarda a noi riservata, per farci capire la bontà della famiglia e del carinissimo paese di San Donato... Tutto, ma veramente tutto a disposizione, oltre alla pulizia della casa e agli accessori forniti (asciugamani, trapunte...) Complimenti, ci vedremo sicuramente ancora.

Un paradiso nel Parco Nazionale
Reviewed By MonicadecL'agriturismo Tenuta Castelli è un pezzo di paradiso immerso nella natura, la struttura antica ma accuratamente ristrutturata è una chicca per chi vuole vivere un'esperienza di viaggio in un posto autentico, inoltre la veranda affacciata sulle montagne e le campagne circostanti permettono di rilassarsi completamente al canto del gallo la mattina e al frinire delle cicale di sera. Lì vicino si possono visitare San Donato in Val di Comino (uno dei borghi più belli d'Italia), la riserva naturale Lago di Posta Fibreno, Prati di Mezzo, Madonna di Canneto e i bellissimi sentieri del Parco nazionale del Lazio... e poco distanti ci sono anche Pescasseroli, Barrea e tantissimi altri posti che non abbiamo avuto il tempo di visitare. Per chi ha i bambini è il posto ideale, mio figlio ogni mattina mi chiedeva di andare a vedere le galline, le caprette e i maialini della tenuta, ma la scoperta più bella è stata l'ospitalità del sig. Angelo che ci ha accompagnati alla scoperta dell'apicoltura, dell'allevamento degli animali, che ha illustrato (come fossimo in una masseria didattica) il nido del picchio e del codirosso, oltre ad averci accompagnati a vedere i daini. Inoltre, abbiamo potuto degustare delle colazioni buonissime a base di crostate e ciambelle, frutti di bosco, miele, polline tutto prodotto nella Tenuta e preparato quotidianamente. Non vediamo l'ora di tornarci!

The "Residence of the Grancassa", immersed in a centenary park, is located in a beautiful historic residence called "Villa Grancassa", located in the historic center of San Donato Val di Comino. Facilities at this property include a 24-hour reception, a restaurant, a lounge bar, a tennis court and a terrace. The on-site staff can arrange airport transport. The hotel rooms all have a private bathroom and are equipped with TV and fridge and free WiFi.
Splendida struttura
Reviewed By stefano712015E' una villa nobiliare di metà Ottocento, come dimostra l'architettura e il magnifico scalone centrale, che non sfigurerebbe nella scenografia dei film d'epoca. Il terremoto del 1915 fece crollare il tetto, che infatti è più moderno. Nel tempo la villa fu acquistata dalla Diocesi di Sora, e recentemente è diventata albergo e ristorante. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile, come la famiglia che ne è proprietaria. C'è il parcheggio interno e un piccolo parco, e con due passi si raggiunge la piazza principale del Paese. Il ristorante ha prezzi di fascia alta, e nella mia stanza lo spazio nel bagno era piccolo (penso dipenda dall'antichità della costruzione). Colazione ottima e varia.
