Reviewed By traveller1ViennaThe hotel is across the road from the Salamander Railway so a great location when you want to take the train to the top of the Schneeberg and hike from there. The room was large, very comfortable and had a walk in shower with rain shower head and lots of hot water. We also had a large balcony with table and chairs. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the afternoon cakes. They also have a good selection of wines at reasonable price. The staff are very friendly and helpful and will give you information about the area. There is also a large garage which was ideal when it was very hot.

A rather dated hotel that, nevertheless, provided a great weekend away.
Reviewed By TopsMAThe hotel has great potential but is quite old-fashioned. Despite that we actually loved that it was rather dated & most of the clients seemed to be old ladies! It meant it was quiet, we had the large garden & pool mostly to ourselves & the location was great. Our room was a little dated but did have a large balcony (although the view was of some waste ground) & an updated bathroom (other members of the group had less spacious bathrooms). The staff were friendly on the whole but English was not spoken by everyone. Breakfast was the usual continental but plentiful with a good selection. The spa treatments were used by some of the family members & they were happy with the service but again the spa area was very dated. The location, close to hiking trails etc, was perfect. As previously stated the clientele seemed to be old ladies so that affected some services. Dinner was served from 18.00 - 19.30 which was a bit early & you have to choose your dinner selection at breakfast. The bar closes at 21.00 so we either ordered several rounds at one time or supplied our own drinks. It is quiet so depending on what you are looking for this may or may not be appreciated. The hotel is old fashioned but again we found that endearing. It is hard to be objective when reviewing this hotel as it provided the location of a family get-together for the first time since the coronavirus lockdown, so we have a great affection for it now :-)

Reviewed By yacova2015היינו בסיור מוינה עם המדריך אביב. בסיום היום עצרנו במלון מסעדה זה. המקום מקומי מאוד עם אוכל אוסטרי מסורתי. האוכל היה טעים מאוד ומגוון. המרקים היו ממש מעולים! האווירה היתה נעימה ובעל המקום ניגן לנו עם אקורדיון ישן.... מיוחד.

Reviewed By klemm2015Sehr gemütliche Gaststube, sehr schön gedeckte Tische, freundliche Bedienung und das Essen war ausgezeichnet, zwei Mal Forelle nach Art des Hauses, eine Fischvariation sowie für mich ein Exzellentes Beinfleisch, wie zu Großmutters Zeiten mit Semmelkren.

Reviewed By GF-Reisender1030Unsere Ferienwohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlt uns an nichts. Der Müll wurde jeden Tag entleert - man denkt an Heinzelmännchen :-). Die Familie Gscheider, die vier Generationen umfasst, ist sehr umsichtig und sehr sehr sympathisch. In der Nähe ist ein Sessellift, der auf den Berg führt, von hier aus kann man viele herrliche Touren machen. Für unser E-Auto war eine Lademöglichkeit vorhanden, keine Selbstverständlichkeit.

Die Pension Bruckerhof liegt äußerst günstig: 5 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt, bietet einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Schneeberg und die Umgebung. Jedes Zimmer hat einen Balkon und es gibt einen großartigen Garten. Es ist sauber und alles, was man braucht, ist da. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich, jeder Wunsch wird im Nu erfüllt. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend. Bloß der Kaffee könnte etwas besser sein. Die Pension ist äußerst rustikal gehalten. Wenn man ein Problem mit Jagdtrophäen oder viel Holz im Interieur hat, ist man da falsch. Ich muss es zwar auch nicht so „stubenhaft“ haben, aber irgendwie passt das zu der Gegend und wirkt sehr authentisch.
