Big family trip
Reviewed By geoasaWe had great service from beginning to end. Our rooms were spacious. We were a family of 11 and they made us feel like we were easy to fit into their hotel. Our kids are noisy and rambunctious and no one made us feel unwelcomed.Definitely a place we would stay at again!

Reviewed By Jeffm141414Stayed here one night for business trip. This property was on point again Checkin was fast and friendly from Liz. I was upgraded through Platinum status to a ‘wide king’. This was my first time upgraded at this property, which I really appreciated. This is an end room which truly is ‘wide’. A totally different feel. Would love to have this room again. Same layout and furniture but everything it wider. Breakfast here is great with very attentive staff and a nice selection. They have started construction of the adjacent connecting property but only sign of this is a hoarding wall in the breakfast area. Checkout was quick and done by Trevor, the GM himself. Every time I have been here the GM is involved and on the floor. You can’t clearly see his pride and passion for the team and property. Well done all around Jeff

Reviewed By zestyi2021Close to the beach (1 block) and walking distance to d/town. Very old building. Bed very uncomfortable. Room renovated 2 years ago. TV was very temperamental, most of the time didn't want to work. Good thing we had our cell phones with wi-fi connection. Breakfast ,good, boiled eggs, variety of cereal, coffee, bread, bagels, yogurt. Ram at the front desk, very considerate and friendly. Upgraded us for NO CHARGE. Front door key was difficult to work as you had to jiggle the door 2 or 3 times to open. All floors in the building slanting.

Reviewed By 891phoebemWe stayed for the weekend at Paradise Inn so that we could attend a friends wedding near by. The Inn was great, very clean, beautiful room and very quiet. The location was amazing, right across from the beach! Highly recommend!

Reviewed By Judy BChose this motel as a place to stay while attending the Huron Fringe Festival. It was clean, close to all the restaurants, quick access to return to our events and quiet at night for sleeping. There was a cafe but our day started too early to dine there . Forgot to bring bathing suits so can"t comment on the pool. Overall it met all our needs

Most of the units have recently been renovated. Yes, we do have cable colour TV in all the units. The Sand Castle Motel is located within easy distance to all your favourite activities, such as the shopping across the street or to the shops located downtown. Many of the local restaurants will deliver food to the motel or you just may want to take a stroll and dine out.

Reviewed By Leanne2122Rooms are filthy and completely outdated. Do not waste your money at this place. The first room that we were given was absolutely disgusting with holes in the wall. We were offered a larger room which was still bad. The bedding was clean and bathroom was clean. The rest was not.

Reviewed By Dream01371973040This motel is dated and the rooms are quite small but extremely clean and the beds are quite comfortable. There is a microwave and fridge in the room as well as a coffeemaker. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The owner wasn’t able to give us the room we had requested, so he adjusted our rate. We were able to check in early and receive our key even though the room wasn’t ready so that we could just move in our stuff when we arrived back at the motel later that night. We had a corner unit with 3 windows on the top floor. We had no problem with noise at all. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone.

Absolutely filthy - very disappointing.
Reviewed By 18Chris86We used to stay at this motel 2+ years ago, it was lovely and clean. NOW, it was absolutely filthy. Floors had not been washed, the kitchen and bathroom were disgusting, no towels, dirty sheets, garbage under the beds and behind the nighttable. Dirty dishes in the sink when we arrived. Stuff spilt in the fridge. No kettle, a dirty coffee maker, etc. We would not eat there and will never stay again.
