Good hotel in Pocheon Area..
Reviewed By CanisHanCY+c ( 19.03.23 ) My family stated one night there. This hotel was located in some odd corner, so there was good to people who stay calmly. The appearance and the garden was beautiful and artistic. The inside was no problem, and the staff was kind and tried to our troubles intently. The facility was a little old, but no problem. Good to stay calmly.

Reviewed By DapK1The place is beautiful, the view the room and facilities etc. Perfect weather in June, not too hot not too cold. The staff is very helpful. You can ask them for a private BBQ party at night, the staff will prepare the stove on your balcony!! The private Jacuzzi on the balcony is also another amazing things, a very good place to relax and enjoy the night view and chilly weather.

A pleasant, and reasonably cheap hotel

BUT... having said that, it turned out to be a very clean and very pleasant hotel, with capable, friendly and helpful staff who spoke English, rooms (at least the better upstairs room that we had) are a reasonably decent size, and with a quite large bathroom. As noted by other reviewers, the bathrooms do have a bath, with the shower above the bath, AND... no shower screen...! This meant that one has to learn a few tricks by using the hand-held shower head and trying not to be splashing too much water onto the tiled bathroom floor. But we soon learned to get around this slight annoyance. Breakfast (for what it is...) is included, run by a somewhat bossy, yet never-the-less quite pleasant Korean woman. Breakfast was the same every day, and comprised (at your option) coffee, tea, cereal, cup noodles, toast, butter, jam, some Korean preserved vegetables, and sliced ham. While certainly not fancy eating, it was tasty, filling, and enough to get us on our way each day. For those with back problems: The mattresses on the beds in this hotel are VERY firm, so if you need a soft mattress to sleep on, for whatever reason, then unfortunately you will not enjoy the beds at Hill House Hotel. I do have back problems, and the first couple of nights were more than a little uncomfortable for me, although my partner slept like a log. But I somehow adjusted my sleeping positions as the nights passed such that I was able to get some reasonable sleep each night. But some people might find these (presumably Korean traditional) very firm mattresses a bit hard to take. (Pun intended.) The hotel is located in what might seem to be some back-water of Seoul, and I guess to an extent it is. However, if you don't mind walking, it is barely 10 minutes walk for one of two Metro stations, and a 10-minute walk from the famous Myeong-dong shopping area, which itself is definitely worth a visit. So even though located in a very minor backstreet, we ALWAYS felt safe there at night, there is a 7-Eleven store at the end of the street, and a small supermarket just across and down a few doors from the 7-Eleven. Put simply, albeit the street area (and that last short steep hill walk) is not celebrious, it actually is in a very good location for access to a lot of the good things you will want to see and do while in Seoul. Even just a 10-15 minute walk to the N Seoul Tower, which is quite nearby. If ever we get back to Seoul again, then we would definitely consider staying at Hill House Hotel.

남편과 딸, 그리고 개와 함께 한 가족여행. - 애견동반여행
Reviewed By mira k지난 해 말, 새롭게 가족이 된 애견 "복단"과 함께 여행을 했다. 가족 모두 펜션을 좋아하지 않는 탓에 선택의 여지없이 결정한 장소. 막상 도착하니, 서울과 지나칠정도로 가까워서 놀라고, 이름이 알려주듯, 생긴 지 오래됐음에도 불구하고 "베어스타운"을 이제야 와봤다는 것에 또 한 번 놀라지 않을 수 없었다. 콘도는 중앙에 스키 슬로프를 두고 양쪽 산 둔턱에 여러종류의 5층 짜리 콘도 건물이 둥그렇게 자리잡은 형태를 취하고 있었고, 유일하게 프론트를 관장하는 "타워콘도" 에만 엘리베이터가 있었으니, 올 해 같은 더위와 뙤약볕 아래에서 그 동선은 끝없이 길게 느껴지고 작던, 크던, 비탈과 계단은 모두를 힘들게 했다. 콘도 내부에 제법 긴 슬라이드가 있는 취사가능 수영장이 있다는 사실은 결정의 매우 중요 요소 였지만, 수영장의 시설 퀄리티에 비해, 할인 레이트였음에도 불구하고 높게 느껴지던 입장료, 파라솔과 차양막 시설은 또 한번의 입장료 만큼의 지불을 해야 사용이 가능 했다. 일반 입장객을 위한 무료 차양막이나 않을 곳 하나 없는 비인간적인 수영장은 얼핏 엄격한 규정 아래 있을 것 같다는 착각을 불러 일으켜 관리는 잘 되어있겠거니 하였지만 화장실과 풀장의 물이 많이 더러워 앞뒤가 맞지 않는 느낌을 지울 수 없었다. 암튼 놀긴 놀았다. 밤이 되면 바베큐를 야외 푸드코트에서 운영하여 운치를 더하고, 스키 리프트를 탈 수 있게 하여 높은 산의 정상까지 개를 데리고 갔다 올 수 있어 참 좋았다. 튜브를 이용한 스피디한 잔디밭 슬라이드와 세그웨이와 카트를 탈 수 있는 소소한 재미거리도 좋았지만 하나같이 모두 비싸긴 했다. 아이가 좋아하니 모두 경험하게 했지만, 두번째 방문 부터는 리프트 빼고는 더 이용할 생각은 없다. 집에 있는 나인봇을 가져왔으면 좋았겠다. 혹시 집에 나인봇이나 세그웨이가 있다면 가져가는 것이 좋을 것이다. 자전거도 좋다. 단거리 비히클이 매우 적절한 곳이다. 포천 관광은 모노레일이 있었던 천주산일대의 아트벨리와 이동갈비, 산정호수로 정하여 짬짬이 움직였다. 아트벨리 정상에 있는 천문과학관의 3D는 사전에 예약을 하여야 입장이 가능하므로 참고하면 좋겠다. 개는 내부만 출입금지이다. 너무 많아 어디로 가야할지조차 모르겠던 이동갈비는 베어스타운과 가까운 “기와골”로 결정하였는데, 3박4일 동안 2번을 갈 정도로 대만족이었고 복단이도 데리고 갈 수 있어 우리에겐 더없이 훌륭한 장소가 되었다. 서울과 가까워 나중에 갈비가 생각날 땐 꼭 그 곳을 또 가리라 마음을 먹은 곳이다. 알게되서 너무 기분 좋은 식당이었다. ^^ 산정호수는 한화콘도 안시로 가서 가족 모두 흐르는 물에 발을 담그며 여유롭고 한화콘도의 정갈한 설비에서 시간을 보냈다. 복단이도 용기를 내어 물 속을 걸었다. 계곡 물이라 오싹한 차가움이 있었서 너무 시원했고 딸도 어찌나 좋아하던지, 꼭 이 곳에서 머물고 싶다 했다. 한화콘도에서도 펫프렌들리 룸이 생겼지만 대기가 많고 인기가 좋아 예약하기가 쉽지 않다. 1박정도 하고싶다는 생각이 많이 드는 곳이었다. 안시는 개인적으로 아쉬운 점이 한화콘도에서 직영하는 수영장이 없다는 것. 베어스타운의 애견동반 콘도는 75동으로 ‘별장콘도’라 불리우는 장소에 위치하였는데, 이 곳 또한 사람들이 꽤 많았다. 왠지 모두 개를 데리고 왔다는 특이성때문인지 남같지 않은 친근함이 생겨 작은 배려마저 저절로 서로를 향해 우러나오는 75동이었다. ^^ 75동은 경치도 훌륭했고, 별을 관찰하기에 매우 적절하여 새벽에 별 구경을 할 수 있어 좋았다. 서울에서는 왜이리 별을 보기 어려워졌을까…. 드라이기, 그릇, 샴푸, 비누, 휴지까지 구비되어 있었지만, 벽시계와 고무장갑이 없었다. 포천일대의 관광을 위해서는 아주 훌륭한 베이스캠프임에는 분명하다.

오래된 숙소
Reviewed By ramenpop이랜드 계열이 그렇듯이 가성비 숙소입니다. 오래된 콘도를 최소한으로 리모델링 했습니다. 그래서 중앙난방이고 방마다 온도조절이 되지 않았습니다. 바닥이 너무 뜨거워서 프론트데스크에 몇번 전화했는데 별 수 없었습니다.
