Reviewed By only_work_4_holidayHad a fantastic holiday all the staff are amazing so kind friendly and thoughtful. Accomodation was fab, had a two bed pool villa for the week. It had everything you could want and was cleaned daily to a high standard. Always staff around they were all very helpful they work so hard to make people's stay awesome and definitely succeeded for us. Never had to wait for anything including a buggy in the rain storm. The hotel was so quiet we seemed to have all the pools both on villa side and main hotel side to ourselves which was a lovely bonus. AI food and drinks good. Can have AI drinks at all the bars (didn't realise this at first) the sun set from the beach bar is awesome! Beautiful walk along the beach in the lovely warm water seeing all the different wildlife! Surf school and rental on site which is great. Hotel has a bus/car service into the town at a reasonable price used the local open back taxi services to return ( a little bit scary at times but what an experience). A short walk away is the Elephant home and we had an amazing time there including a delicious lunch at Memories bar. Fantastic hotel, gorgeous setting, amazing staff with plentiful facilities made an awesome holiday, would love to come back and explore Thailand some more from Apsara!

The perfect venue for relaxation and luxury
Reviewed By Mairead0110My husband and I have just returned from our first ever trip to Thailand - we spent 10 days in the beautiful town of Khao Lak, staying at this fantastic resort. From the moment we arrived, we experienced luxury. The staff treated us as royalty and were extremely welcoming and accommodating. We had no prior knowledge of Thailand and were not aware that we were going in 'low season' - the resort was extremely quiet and did not have the same amenities as normal but this did not affect our trip negatively in the slightest; if anything, it added to it. On arrival, we were upgraded to the best room type in the resort free of charge - this room was stunning. We were in a private villa right on the beach that hosted its own private pool and sun lounging area. The facilities in the room were brilliant, including water that was restocked daily, spa-quality toiletries and bath robes. The room also included a beach bag, towel mats and towels to take to the beach/pool, which was a lovely touch. Each day the rooms were cleaned to perfection and towels and water was restocked. The staff at this hotel are a credit to the resort - they are extremely welcoming and polite. No matter a person's role within the resort, or the time of day, people will always stop to say hello and will try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The food and drink was amazing (and very cheap!) We did not opt for the all-inclusive option but ended up eating breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort most days, and our bill was surprisingly low. We enjoyed cocktails all day and were amazed that each one cost less than £3.50. Despite how quiet the resort was, there was always a choice of restaurant to eat at, hosting a range of cuisines, from fine-dining to Thai to European. The dishes were very affordable and there was a wide range to choose from. I couldn't recommend this resort enough. Something that really stood out to us was the shuttle service. The resort is about 10/15 minutes away from the local shops and main city area. The resort offers a free shuttle that goes on a regular basis. On one trip, our driver heard us discussing a beach club we wanted to try and find in the town - she ended up dropping us right to the door and picking us up, which was amazing because it was nowhere near the area where the shuttle usually goes but she was accommodating and extremely helpful. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday. There was a TUI rep there each day, who would check in with us and was able to offer advice on excursions and the general area. I would definitely recommend this resort - we hope to return at some point during high season to see its full effect, but as previously mentioned, we loved our stay here and weren't put off by the emptiness. The ultimate highlight of the resort is the staff - there were several 'little' things that really made a difference for us, the driver being one. Another would be that following one trip to the local town, our driver took the inflatable we bought, blew it up for us, and dropped it to our room within minutes. It sounds silly but the little details really made the trip. To all at TUI Blue Khao Lak, thank you for an amazing trip. Your hospitality is second to none and we had an absolute blast. Your resort is phenomenal and we couldn't have asked for a better introduction to Thailand! ขอบคุณ

Reviewed By TheVipondsSAWe arrived the 22nd April for 10 nights. Never regretted it for a second. We came on holiday for 100% relaxation and that's exactly what we did and got. This resort is in a magnificent setting, the pools are spectacular, the vegetation incredible. The landscaping adds to the feel of the setting as well as it compliments the majestic trees. The garden restaurant is set higher up on the land where breakfast is served daily until 10.30am. The breakfast is an assortment of dishes the cross over of Eastern and European. Very interesting dishes on offer. The Veranda restaurant is set close to the beach which offers spectacular views of sunsets. Lunches and dinners are served here. The meals are really delicious and the desserts are excellent. Every day at the Sunset Bar there is happy hour from 430pm until 6pm. There is a selected menu for the happy hour. All serving staff are excellent, friendly and so helpful. Our room was beautiful, well appointed and extremely clean, staff really made sure that they delivered on the service. TV viewing is a non, the only station that one could watch was France 24 which was aired in English. We ended up not nothering with the TV The pools in each setting is truly a treat. We loved everyone of them. This resort is far from the hussle and bussle which was perfect for us, we just wanted the calm and that's what we got. The beach is outstanding, as this was our 5th trip to Thailand this has got to be the very best of all the beaches we have visited. The sand is soft, clean and pristine. A great beach for walks on. The sea excellent to swim in and chill in.

It is a secluded and yet exciting destination for a family holiday getaway or a romantic honeymoon. 70 minutes from Phuket International Airport. The resort features guestrooms, suites, villas, three swimming pools, six restaurants, a bar with live band, gym, spa, tennis courts and water sports. The ROBINSON Khao Lak has been in existence since 2004. In 2017 it was taken over by ROBINSON and partially renovated. Important areas have been renewed and additional facilities created.
Khao Lak resort excellence
Reviewed By TravelHintsandTipsWe booked an 8-night stay at the Robinson Club Khao Lak during a recent trip to Thailand. To say that the property exceeded our expectations would be a massive understatement. Our stay was in a pool bungalow, and the size, cleanliness, and inclusions in the unit were all excellent. The food options were excellent during our stay. We had a full-board package that included 3 meals every day. Packaged with our pool bungalow accommodation was access to the beach restaurant for breakfast. The location was fantastic, with views out into the Andaman Sea and along the beachfront. Food was great, with a variety of buffet choices ranging from Eurropean cuisine to Thai style options. We also had the option of champagne to provide the start of each day with a sparkle. Lunch and dinner buffets were served at the terrace restaurant. The buffet kitchen area was very impressive, both in terms of the size and variety of choices. Although there were very many buffet choices, a number of cooking stations were also provided, offering individually prepared selections of meat and seafood dishes, as well as a pasta station. For full-board clients, a free flow selections of beer and wines was also offered with these meals. Our only (minor) issue was that, with the location of the Robinson Club being well north of the Khao Lak shopping district, our expectation of a shuttle service to the shopping turned out to be a one-way taxi fare of 400 baht, with our need to find our own way back to the resort.

We had a pool villa which was really nice, clean with safe box a big big bed, Whirlpool tube , big shower and of course big flat screen TV. Small nice veranda very good to chill. The hotel staff was extraordinary friendly! The Fitness gym is equipped good enough. The small minus was the first day breakfast (limited offers due to less hotel visitors) but thanks god they changed it on the second day and offered a breakfast buffet which was delicious ?

The worst Resort ever
Reviewed By AsafDPSThis Resort is in the middle of no where, and it was the worst Resort we've ever stayed at!! They treated us like prisoners!! Do you imagine that? We booked 3 nights, but after the 1st night we had to leave the country for a medical reason because my wife had to see her Doctor ASAP! but the Resort Manager refused to let us leave without signing a refund disclaimer!! And he wasted our time ( approx 3 hours) trying to force us to sign!! The taxi driver who works in the resort refused to take us to the airport because the manager wasn't satisfied! We booked another taxi , then the Manager came again while we were inside the taxi and opened the door trying to force us to sign !! When I get mad and asked him to go away of the taxi !! His security guys and his friends from the street gathered around the taxi and took the taxi driver keys and turned of the taxi engine and force him not to leave with us!! Once they realised that My wife took videos of that, they stand back and finally we had a chance to leave this so called a Resort!! DO NOT GO THERE.

Not value money
Reviewed By MareeyaP1By the Sri panwa brand everything should be perfect but it was not as we deserve. We booked the room: Baba Pool Suite Ocean View but we didn't see any ocean views from our room. We booked airport transfer service from the hotel (the price is more then double of local taxi service), we got baby seat with is not suitable for humans: old, broken and dirty. Luckily the staff was nice and helpful.
