The town area, which is part of the Brontë Country, has a population of 51,429, making it the third largest civil parish in England.

The trains ran regularly the weekend we were there. You can get a great photo on the bridge just outside the station. It does get busy with photographers but it is still possible to get a great view of the trains as they come in...MoreThank you for your nice works. By the sounds of it you came over out spring steam gala. On a normal weekend we don’t usually have that many photographers. Hope to see you again soon.

Having visited Haworth for many years this was our first visit to the Parsonage.Lots of History and interesting things to see and with young children you can dress up in authentic clothes.

This was it! the one thing we challenged ourselves to do... and we did!
With a 50p map in our hands we set off for one of the most important walks we have ever done, not a clue what was in store for us but found the walk first to the Waterfalls which is en route so scenic and jaw dropping we forgot how far we had walked.
After the Waterfalls came the little tricky part uphill slightly and quite rocky but after you get past that bit its fairly simple pathways. The rain had started falling by the time we got here but call me weird but i don't think it would have had the same effect if the sun had been shining, we did take our rain coats with us so didn't care it all just added to the ambiance and the eerily feel of Wuthering Heights.... if only i had a long dress on and was calling Heathcliffe....
The walk took around 4.5hrs return to Haworth that was in pouring rain and stopping a while under the tree by the ruin, if you can make this walk after the waterfall do it! walk in the footsteps of the Bronte Sisters....

We are located approx 400 ft after the totally separate Ingrow Loco Museum. We are close to the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.You don't have to be a railway enthusiast to enjoy our museum! Over 60 Television programmes and films have featured carriages from our museum. Watch the videos. Listen to the sound presentations as you sit inside the carriages. See the differences between 1st, 2nd and 3rd class. Signs, posters and small exhibits.

Went yesterday with 4 children & it couldn't have been better, the children really enjoyed the freedom of going into the carriages & along the corridors in complete safety, my grandson especially enjoyed 'driving' the train to Australia, Greece & Scarborough (in his dreams). Council run and free. Donation box at entrance. A full comprehensive journey of Keighley and surrounding areas covering from pre history up to modern day. Give yourself an hour or so just to see the museum. The park grounds/waterfall etc are good too. There is a large children's playground and picnic area.
The Pavillions cafe is new and great views. There are also some brand new aviaries but not stocked as yet.
Worth a visit.

If you are visiting the Bronte Parsonage Museum you will want to see the Church next door even though we discovered it is not the one where Mr Bronte was the parson, that church is long gone. However, there is a memorial to the Bronte sisters within the church and a headstone to their mother and siblings in the churchyard.

Visited with my two boys aged 6 and 3. My 6 year old found it interesting and enjoyed finding the objects in the activity sheet. My 3 year old however kept touching everything as they do. This wasn’t much of an issue for the guides as we kept stopping him however there was one lady who was quite abrupt when telling him. Putting delicate objects on a small round table that moves if you touch it in the middle of a room at child’s height is silly especially if even going near it he gets shouted at. Wasn’t I’m pressed with that. Overall a nice little place .
I’ve been but I wouldn’t go again unless it was free.

Pleasant walk to the Waterfalls but large sections on the road coming back. Nice scenery on the way but signposting is not great. However you will meet local people on the walk who are really friendly and happy to direct you. Waterfalls are somewhat tame but the walk itself is quite nice overall.

We popped to Haworth and didn't even know this brewery and micro pub had opened but couldn't resist. Great atmosphere great pale and great value. Lots of choice of ales I had a pale. Will be back soon
