I was there a couple of weeks ago with 4 grandchildren, ages 4-11 and their parents. They just loved this place; when asked their favorite thing during our 2 week vacation, they all mention this as a highlight.
Since there is not a lot of supervision supplied by the facility, you really do need to have an adult with each of the kids, coaching from the ground, or at least with young kids. We had 4 kids, at 3 different levels, and 4 adults so it worked out ok.
Here in USA, kids would probably be required to wear helmets and who knows what else, but not in France! :)
It is both physically and mentally challenging, and I recommend it as a true adventure day.

I have been on many preserved steam Railways in the UK and wanted to try one in France.
Interesting scenery, including some Bridges over beautiful rivers.
Great to be able to ride in a vehicle without any windows directly behind the locomotive although we did end up with sooty particles on our clothing.
Able to go on the footplate at the lunch break.
Good value food at St Jean station.
Disappointed that only one engine in steam and that the return ticket doesn't allow you to go on any train during the day. These latter points reflect a comparison with the UK.

My two daughters just loved this place, they had been asking to do something like this for a long time and at 15 euro each this represents really good value! The instructor was great, really good humoured, calm and patient (thank you Miko from the Irish family!), we arrived quite early in the morning so there was just one other family doing the same parcours. As I said, it is excellent value for money - we were there for just over 3 hours, and the instructor was there when the girls needed him but otherwise let them get on with it themselves. I was particularly pleased that my eldest daughter finally overcame her fear of zipwires and was happily zooming along them. All in all a wonderful attraction, I am sure we will be back!

Visited Anduze and saw the sign to this shop - so glad I went in! The owner has won many prizes for his product which is of exceptional quality and has the most imaginative flavours, which you can sample. I truly wish I had bought more but fortunately he does mail order (in France). There are lots of other goodies - chocolate etc. Try it!

Très beau château rénové mais pas dans sa totalité ; de belles balades pour y accéder, des super vues. On peut y passer des heures sans s'en lasser.
Il y a même une chèvre qui y a élu domicile.
