Rofos Boat Tours

The captain Ilias and his team work very hard to ensure all guests have a fun relaxing time. With a very obvious love for what they do, the crew encourage guests to relax, share stories, enjoy the beauty of their island and enjoy the food prepared fresh that morning. A down to earth trip with value for money.

Folklore Art Museum Of Cycladic Civilization

Benetos Skiadas, an ordinary fisherman, managed to revive the Greek Tradition by creating his unique, functional and hand made miniatures using materials only from the Cycladic land. And all these without making any draft or using any scientific instruments. He created them only by using the divine gifts with which he was born; observation, perception, passion for creativity. The result is excellent and all the miniatures function in a perfect way. All his memories and personal experiences were strongly impressed on his mind and prompted him - with the help of his skillful hands– to revive the tradition and his dreams. The visitor can admire a all types of Greek ships such as warships, merchant ships and fishing boats which give you the impression that they are ready to sail. Gri-gri, drift-boats, steamships, sailing boats, triremes are all constructed with the traditional shipbuilding and are exact replicas of the genuine models.

A lifetimes work of a man who was a sailor. Dozens and dozens of miniatures old buildings, artefacts, and ships. A garden, mainly buildings and artefacts, on walks through shrubs. The museum houses a collection of authentic ships, perfectly detailed.
This museum should not be missed if you are on Paros, it is quite unique.

Aliki Yoga School

Teacher and owner Oona Giesen is recognised by the IYF (International Yoga Federation) and the Dutch society of yoga teachers VYN (Vereninging Yogadocenten Nederland). She started with Iyengar Yoga 44 years ago, around 1973, when she was eight years old. Oona grew up with yoga, and started teaching Iyengar based Hatha Yoga 24 years ago, in her mothers yoga school in Amsterdam/The Netherlands, and in her own yoga school on the island Paros in Greece. Although she has a slightly softer approach, you can feel the influences of B.K.S. Iyengar in her classes. Her classes are down to earth, no chanting, but back to basic yoga, with physical exercises (asanas) and breathing (pranayama) and meditiation. Oona became expert by experience in managing backpain with yoga since she broke her spine in a car accident in 1998 and since then recovered herself extremely well with her yoga. The yoga courses will be held on Paros, one of the most beautiful Islands of the Cyclades. The Cyclades are a group of Islands in the Aegean Sea, between Athens and Crete, known for its natural beauty and spectacular architecture. Paros is also the most central located island of the Cyclades and ferry boats go daily to different Islands.Piso Aliki is a quiet bay, just behind Aliki, a small fishing village at the still quiet south-coast of Paros. There are several lovely Beaches close by, a few taverna’s / restaurants at the seaside and beautiful sunsets to enjoy in the afternoon. No nightlife, no discotheques, just calmness and tranquillity…..except for an occasional village party which are realy nice.Piso Aliki and yoga, the perfect combination to really unwind from your daily stress, relax and enjoy life.

We checked out the Three Beaches of this lovely little Fishing Village that is Aliki and Pisa is certainly a lot quieter and more tranquil. Little on the Pebbly side for me, but you still get that beautiful crystal clear Aegean Sea to admire and cool off in.

Cycladic Diving

Reviewed By Rob B - Oswestry, United Kingdom

We have dived with Cycladic Diving at Aliki, Paros over several summers and each time has been different and delightful. Sara and Gilda make us so welcome and give excellent preparation and apres-dive debrief (over wine and olives!). Sara is a superb divemaster, giving individual attention and taking time to point out fish, geological formations and archaeological points of interest. She can give dive tuition in about 6 languages and is good with adults and children, beginners and advanced (we are two mature brits but we have made up small groups with Italians, French, Germans and Greeks at different times), involving everybody so that we all work together as a team. Sara is very good at building confidence and we feel totally safe under her expert instruction. A knowledgeable marine biologist, she has great experience of finding the most colourful and interesting dive sites and is able to point out fish and other fauna which anyone else would have missed completely. Take a look at her website to see some superb photos which she has taken.

This is the only pub in the village. I liked a lot the environment and the decoration and although it is not by the beach, you can still sea the sea. The cocktails are cheaper than in other places in the village, but very light. Because of the yard, there are many Mosquitos.
