Antiparos (Greek: Αντίπαρος; Ancient Greek: Ὠλίαρος Oliaros) is a small island in the southern Aegean, at the heart of the Cyclades, which is less than one nautical mile (1.9 km) from Paros, the port to which it is connected with a local ferry. Saliagos island is the most ancient settlement in the Cyclades, and Despotiko, an uninhabited island in the southwest of Antiparos, is a place of great archaeological importance.

The restaurant is beautifully situated in Agios Georgios and has a fantastic view directly on the sea and the island Despotiko. Great food, brilliant fish! Can be highly recommended.

Argo is a traditional, family-run taverna with superior home cooking. With two visits, we worked our way through cod, whitebait, sardines and calamari. All perfectly cooked. The house potato salad was excellent as were the Greek meze starters. Good house wine. Excellent value. Excellent service from a conscientious family.The taverna has plenty of outside space and shade.
The restaurant is a short walk from the port frontage up a small side street. Well worth seeking out. It was the best food of our stay in Antiparos - against impressive competition.

we found it very hard to get decent food anywhere in Antiparos,in 5 nights we struggled and more often than not disappointed. here the service was excellent and the food above average,the views are good and the atmosphere inside was lovely. prices are high for what you receive but its one of the best places to eat on the island, i do think asking 30 euros deposit for a reservation is over the top though.

For Antiparos standards this is one of the very few organized Beaches with a nice cafe-restaurant in the premises. The food is very good however the variety is rather limited. Some of the dishes are truly outstanding but all of them are certainly priced above average...what is outrageously priced however are the sun-beds at €10 each. If you want a quality restaurant and beach bar at Antiparos, Beach House would certainly be a choice, just be mindful that it doesn't come cheap and you need Reservations.

Nice place, right at the Main Street. Nice meny with different tastes. We ordered a summer salad with fresh figs and strawberries. It had no fresh figs and strawberries but was a good salad though (but they could have mentioned that). We also got a wrong dish (pasta instead of risotto). The pasta with shrimps had 4 small shrimps. Not bad but a bit messy service.

We ate there quite early one May/early season evening and things just seemed strangely flat. The food was OK, the waiters were polite - but there was absolutely nothing special about either the meals or the service. We definitely don't want fuss, but a bit more of a welcome would have improved the evening. We wouldn't eat here again.

This is a usual Greek taverna. Everything is decent and nothing is special. Friendly atmosphere, simple stuff, usual dishes. You will have a good time and you will skip the hassle of the two neighbouring taverns that are very much crowded without offering anything better - on the contrary I would say.

this Taverna is run by a Mum and her two daughters - all so hard working. The food is gourgeous, simple but exceptionally tasty traditional greek. Lunch for us is a conbination of beautiful bread, tzatziki, saganaki, cheese pies, Perigiali salad, beetroot and Greek salad. The kids love it too. Great value and love seeing the family restaurant so popular and busy.
