The most romantic elopement wedding at Millbrook

Reviewed By YasminN299

Thank you so much to the Millbrook team! I got married at Millbrook last week and chose one of the Elopement packages. Sarah Monaghan helped by creating a perfect personalised elopement wedding for my husband and I. All of the inclusions were so exciting and perfect for us. Every detail from the resort room, to the couples spa package to the food was absolutely perfect. Isabella and all of the food&beverage team were fantastic. It’s a stunning location for wedding photos. All of the staff we spoke to were so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend everyone to visit and stay at Millbrook. If you’re looking looking for a great place for a wedding Millbrook should be your first choice!!! We will definitely be back! ?

Absolutely love this place. We have a small campervan and always have a powered site. Spotlessly clean amenities. Friendly and helpful staff. Pet friendly. Keep your eyes open for the quirky artefacts throughout the site. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location, ordinary everything else

Reviewed By Aussie_Em998

The room was basic, but clean in a stunning location overlooking the lake. Biggest issue was the lack of servicing to the room. I understood there wouldnt be new sheets every day, but i stayed 5 nights and during that time no service was done to my room - so I had to ask for fresh towels after 2 days, and I had to run out of toilet paper to realise I also needed to ask for toilet paper. The bin was overflowing due to all the RAT tests we had to complete, and I wouldve expected every 2nd day some level of clean/check of the room for someone staying 5 nights. It felt very un-hotel like to run out of toilet paper, and to have to use a wet towel

Great place to stay

Clean, tidy room. Was handy to park vehicle right by unit. Nice meal and friendly staff. Only complaint the heat pump was only blowing out cold air, other than that nice place to stay and reasonably priced.

Lovely but cold

Reviewed By angelajames2022

The park, facilities and the staff were wonderful. Close to town with a lovely walk, aviaries and a wonderful playground for the kids. In the summer time or warmer season I can only imagine it would be very pleasant. We stayed in winter and it was freezing cold. The Chalet we stayed in was cold in winter, so would not recommend this unit.

What a top spot

Reviewed By waynehannah2018

We pre booked this hotel as part of our unplanned South Island road trip (sounds odd i know...). What a great location - right on the beach. We had a comfy room on the top floor with a magnificent outlook over the surf beach. A mere 100 yard walk to a couple of local cafe's and bars which was great. Easy transit to city centre and motorway. Hotel has parking. Staff were friendly. A good option as opposed to a dowdy central city location.

Great for children

Reviewed By LeanneCassieB

The hotel needs some TLC as it is a little rundown but perfect for staying with children as you didn't have to worry they were going to wreck anything! The ten pin bowling was a big hit with the children and we had a great couple of games on our second night there. Just 5 minutes outside of Queenstown and not far from Arrowtown too. The Shotover Jet was only 2 minutes down the road so really handy to everything. Would definitely stay here again with the children.

Friendly service close to the centre of town

Great location with a stunning outlook over the lake from every room, Red's Bar and the breakfast room. Shared balconies with those on the same floor. We were given a friendly welcome from Nathan who appeared to live at the reception desk! Amazing breakfast buffet (the best in town) with great service - special mention to Jolene. Friendly service at Red's Bar from the entire team but especially from Milan. Rooms were serviced in a safe way in these covid times. Here's hoping you have a great winter season!

Great place to stay

We have stayed here several times and loved it. It’s great having the cafe nearby. We have also enjoyed playing tennis. Nearby is the rock climbing gym, movie theatre and places to eat. The house is immaculate, roomy and warm. We will be back to stay.
