Ideal for Munich International Airport
Reviewed By vndrzlJust an easy 30 minutes from Munich airport, it was the perfect place to stay after picking someone up in the early evening. The rooms were perfect. The hotel's restaurant was outstanding. The only downside was that as it was a very hot summer evening and no room A/C, we had to keep the windows open, which meant traffic noise was a bit of an issue (even at night), as were the church bells. Fairly minor issues overall.

Reviewed By X0815Beautiful rooms, very clean, very modern, very quiet, fast Wifi, friendly staff! I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely go back there as soon as I am in the area. The only little (tiny) complaint I have is that the hotel is close to the freeway, but if the windows are closed you don't notice it.

High expectations for the restaurant
Reviewed By 406richardWe love good quality food and service. The environment was pleasant the service was normal, but nothing special. Food was presented well with a touch of creativity, (Steak tartar to do it justice they could offer more variety of spices for us to add!) I had a hamburger, the meat of which was just grilled quality mince with zero seasoning, but that I do not mean just salt and pepper. The taste was bland. The punchline came with the steak. My wife ordered a 500gm rib-eye which was done exactly as requested - medium rare. However the steak knife was insufficient to tear through the meat which was stringy, somewhat chewy in parts was a real let down for €59,00. Concept great.Result very disappointing. They should perhaps stick to food trucks.

It's close to Munich...
Reviewed By 101Vladim_r_SI do not know what I should write about this hotel. The advantage is the location, just outside Munich. The price is not excessive, but for this money I slept in better hotels. Everything is kind of average - nothing overtly disappoint you, but not pleasantly surprised you. Breakfast was average, good, so the only thing I remember - the room had a "vision" on the apartment building inhabited by people from exotic lands, who were quite noisy.

Everything you´d expect from an excellent guesthouse
Reviewed By Odon SMy girlfriend and I decided to do the Kraut-und-Rüben bicycle route and first looked at this guesthouse because it is right in the middle of it. I called this place some days in advance to make a reservation. Although I left no message when they didn´t answer the phone, they did call back some minutes later (something that one week later would translate into 80 euros and this positive review on TripAdvisor). The place looks beautiful, the rooms have a pretty view, the beds are comfortable, the two ladies running it were both helpful and friendly, it´s all quite clean and the breakfast is perfect after one day of biking and when you still have around 70 km ahead of you. There were a couple of other perks during our stay there but why ruin those surprises to any future guests? Bottom line is: we definitely recommend it and would love to go back one day.

A nice clean Hotel
Reviewed By Lee FThe Hotel is situated in Altdorf very close to most local amenities. It is a basic Hotel but is comfortable and clean. It lacks facilities such as a Bar, restaurant or gym/pool. The main issue I had was the lack of breakfast, I had to visit the local supermarket to buy food for the next morning. The other issue with this was there was no fridge in the room to store food. The hotel did have a vending machine for some snacks and Tea/Coffee. It is very close to local restaurants so finding food on an evening is no problem. I would consider using the Hotel again, but I would find a good local breakfast first.
