Great experience and impressive waterfall! The people caring for the spot / waterfall had done a great job with the spot, so the trail is well placed, you can easily understand more about the nature reseve, the waterfall and nature around it (like the fish in the river / water). The waterfall is very impressive and with the great location, easy to navigate tour, I would recommend this to anyone visiting Åre.

Great experience and nice waterfall! It is really easy to get to the Ristafallet, right of the main road and you don't have to drive very far. The location is great, there is a small cafe and cabins (that you can rent). The walk to the waterfall is beautiful and they did a great job mapping it out. The waterfall is really nice as well, as it is smaller you can get really close. Definitely a nice place to visit when in Åre and I highly recommend it!

The Nature Reserve is a “living” dead waterfall and Sweden’s largest natural disaster of all time. It is located in, Jamtland, Ragunda. Today the Doda fallet canyon is a unique geological formation where you can see and study land uplift, learn how waterfalls were created as the ice receded at the end of the last ice age, and see how the power of water can erode bedrock to create a deep canyon.

Frosotornet

Reviewed By EAGTBA - Borsa, Norway

We drove there by car. There is a big parking space at the top. It costs 20 sek pr. person to take the lift up to the tower. Nice view up there. Then you can take the stairs down again, or the lift again. At the bottom there is a cozy cafe with good sandwiches, cake, cofee, chocolate, tea, juice and diverse. We ate an delicious ecological lunch there. You can choose to take your own picnic and eat outside on the bench, and enjoy the view. People can also hike up to this tower or ride a bicycle.
