Reviewed By Falkor007The hotel is certainly located, on a small street. Rooms are clean and nice. Breakfast is very good and I appreciate that they don't serve a lot of small portions in plastic, but use glass recipients. They offer a place to store bikes, which is very useful in a city.

Reviewed By Katharina HMy room was large and had nice interior. The bathroom is perfectly clean. The shower could need a repair, though (no possibility to change the height). Bed was very comfortable. Since it is a very old building, doors and floor make some sound... The breakfast was ok. I would have preferred a buffet with free choices of bread rolls. For vegetarians: better inform them during checkin. The plate served for breakfast contains cheese and meat. But they made one with cheese only, when I asked for it.

Reviewed By Diana VHorrible place due to miss information from one of the restaurant personnel. I asked where the room was because I knew it was in the Amex. I did this to find parking. I was told to go to the Korngasse park garage. I did and then went back to check in. I was then told where the rooms (3) were. When I got to the room there was on street parking. I really didn’t think much about it and left my car in the garage. The next day we went to the hotels restaurant for breakfast. Then I went to get my car only to find out the garage was closed with my car inside. I called the emergency number and made arrangements to get my car to the cost of 30 euros plus 15 euros overnight parking fee. This was only because of the employee of the restaurant! Very costly and expensive.

The Postgalerie shopping center was opened there in 2012. Since 2020, the AMEDIA Plaza has also taken up a large part of the listed building. A relic from the past - the former door of the main post office became part of the design What had previously disappeared in the catacombs of the post gallery, now shines again in a new design in the AMEDIA Plaza Speyer. The former entrance door of the post office was integrated into the modern and exclusive ambience of the hotel. Reviewed By BurguliUnsere Erfahrungen beruhen auf nur einer Nacht Aufenthalt im Amedie Plaza. Das Hotel ist in einem historischen (denkmalgeschützen??) Gebäude errichtet worden. Das bringt es mit sich, dass einiges nicht so ist, wie man es erwartet, oder gewohnt ist. Das Hotel wirkt innen etwas unübersichtlich. Der Empfangs- und Barbereich befinden sich im 1. Stock. Von dort aus gelangt man in verschiedene Bauteile des Hauses. Dabei muss man evtl. auch durch eher steril wirkende Treppenhäuser laufen. Will man abends nach 21.30 Uhr vom hinteren Bauteil zum Haupteingang muss man das Hotel über den Hinterausgang verlassen um vorne wieder hereinzugehen, weil der Durchgang an Rezeption und der Bar (!!) ab 21.45 Uhr nicht mehr möglich ist. Unser Zimmer war in der 3. Etage, klein, aber sehr sauber. Für eine oder 2 Nächte ist das ok, einen längeren Urlaub möchte ich in diesem Zimmer nicht machen, aber es gibt wahrscheinlich auch größere. Als wir auf dem Weg zum Frühstücksraum den Hinweisschildern gefolgt sind, standen wir vor einer verschlossenen Tür. Dahinter sahen wir das leckere Frühstücksbuffet, wussten aber zunächst nicht, wie man dahin kommt. Des Rätsels Lösung war der 2. von 2 parallelen Fahrstühlen, der ein Halt im Restaurant möglich machte. Hier könnte die Beschilderung sehr viel deutlicher sein. Das Personal am Empfang war bei der Anreise ok., bei der Abreise sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, der Betreuer des Frühstücksbuffets war ausgezeichnet. Hauptmanko für uns war die Parksituation: Der Parkplatz ist ca. 100 m von Hotel entfernt. Es gibt neben dem Haupteingang aber nur einen Stellplatz zum Ein- und Ausladen des Autos. Leider war dieser Platz von Dauerparkern belegt. Fazit: Es hat schon einen gewissen Charme, ein Hotel in einem solch alten Gebäude zu besuchen. Für vollste Zufriedenheit müsste aber noch Kleinigkeiten nachgebessert werden.

Reviewed By Sharky1971Unterkunft war gut erreichbar, es gab am Anreisetag eindeutige Informationen per E-Mail zum Türcode und zum Parkplatz. Ausreichend Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Türcode hat funktioniert, unkomplizierter Check-in und Check-out. Zimmer und Bad waren sehr sauber, die Einrichtung ist modern und das allerbeste: kein Teppichboden!

Super Lage (good Location)
Reviewed By 199amelievSehr nettes familiengeführtes Hotel in bester Stadtlage in Speyer. Ich war not zwei Kindern unterwegs und hatte ein großes sauberes Zimmer mit zwei großen Betten drin. Die Möbel sind einfach aber wirken neu. Das Zimmer war hell und wirkte ebenfalls recht frisch gestrichen. Es gibt einen Fernseher und wifi (das allerdings nicht immer super ist). Die Fenster haben Läden, die man abends zuziehen kann, und Vorhänge, dennoch kommt morgens etwas Licht durch. Wir hatten die Fenster zugemacht und man hört allerdings besonders laute Menschen und Fahrzeuge immer noch. Frühstück war einfach aber ausreichend und man konnte sich die Zeit aussuchen. Für Speyer gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. nice clean room with simple but good furniture, all seems newly revamped. A tiny bit noisy but otherwise great location and very friendly family that runs the hotel - there is WiFi (did not always work perfect but manageable) good option for Speyer
