Reviewed By IWK256We checked in after 9 p.m. and they had actually held our rooms for us. Check in was smooth, rooms were nice and spacious, hot showers throughout, Large comfy beds. Breakfast was not grand but was fresh and you could make requests for what to have...One night I wanted something that was not on the menu and the chef willingly made what I had asked for and it was fantastic. There is a fridge in each room but they do not plug them in and as it is hot in Gulu it would have been lovely to find nice cold water in the fridge. They were willing to bring me cold water from the bar. Lots of power cuts in the area, we were informed it is normal here, I would advise that they get Fridge guards. There is also a TV in each room but will limited channels but at least you can watch the news and have regular updates. I really enjoyed my stay here. Would definitely recommend.

Need to wait for previous utensils to be washed (which is cleaned in clogged sink water) Called so many managers and especially pooja who did booking but they all disappear when we pay remaining amount. Dirtiest kitchen which don't allow to use living room. Gardern was dirty not at all cleaned. All other properties are better than this. Please pay money at the time of checkout so that all your problems are sorted. No dustbin so all garbage is in kitchen and living area. Plz don’t waist your money and Not at all recommended

Reviewed By atwood2010I arrived at this hotel around 9 pm on my way from Murchison falls national park and I was happy that the hotel already had my reservation I had made online. Esther was quick to check me into my room together with Amos who carried my luggage to my room. The hotel is in the middle of town with excellent rooms and fast internet. The rooms are very affordable with hot water.

And an amazing store on the main floor--Lamaro Studio--which sells a curated selection of arts and crafts made by women's social enterprises. All centrally located a couple blocks from the Gulu Market.

Quiet, Secure and Comfortable
Reviewed By PatriciaLoumA lovely place in a quiet part of Gulu. The huts are well made and the grounds are clean. We missed the wonderful breakfast as the cook was unwell. The staff were kind and polite although understaffed possibly due to the holidays. All in all, a place with potential given the great location.
