Grand duplex mais un seul lit double
Reviewed By 802steamNous avons loué un duplex pour une famille de 4 avec 4 couchages- à l'arrivée le duplex est grand et propre mais un seul lit double (confortable) et les 2 autres lits sont des matelas coréens sorte de couverture autant dire qu'on dort à même le sol. Pas moyen d'avoir de matelas supplémentaires alors même que la pension est déserte. On nous donne des serviettes supplémentaires mais la taille reste mini (serviette pour le visage). Personne ne parle anglais. Ok pour une nuit en prévoyant de se faire le petit dej. Dans le logement le matin. Internet bon.

Reviewed By jongwook73여수자체가 관광도시라서 펜션이나 호텔등이 많은데 이곳은 시내와 떨어져 있어 번잡하지 않음 가격도 상당히 저렴함, 단 주변에 놀거리, 음식점등이 없어 조용히 잠만 자기에 좋음

Warm and cosy stay that you will yearn for more
Reviewed By yynMy sister and I spent 5 nights at Hwayapyung Pension, Gurye (originally planned to stay for only 4 nights). The pension was introduced to us by the Korean Tourism Organisation - we asked for a convenient pension near the Gurye Sansuyu Festival that we wanted to visit. We asked for beds and something that is not too expensive. We emailed Hwayapyung Pension (in English) to make reservations and their replies were always prompt (in English too). In terms of location, Hwayapyung Pension is about 20-30 minutes from Gurye Public Bus Terminal (by bus), or 5-10 minutes from Jirisan Oncheon Land (Jirisan Spa-land). It is located on higher land, surrounded by the mountains and pine forest. Hwayapyung Pension makes you feel comfortable and carefree, where home is up there on the mountains through the winding roads. There is no bright city lights or loud noise, the air’s crispy and after a good sleep, we would often wake up before the alarm rings. A good place for those who want to relax, be close to the nature and experience what it feels like staying in a typical Korean pension. Those days where we stayed at Hwayapyung Pension were days when I felt relaxed and not fuss over what time exactly to wake up or move off, because things would just naturally happen even without making plans. During the weekend that we were there, the pension was fully occuiped with many Korean families. We stayed on the 2nd floor - a double bed room with heated floors and attached bathroom with bathtub (shampoo and toothpaste provided), TV, refigerator, hair dryer, internet cable and different hand/ body lotions. The room is spacious, comfortable and cosy. At the time when we were there, the wifi did not seem to work. But the helpful staff went all out to help us get around the problem. It is not a big issue since there is wired internet and also becauase wifi in Gurye is not that common in the first place. If you need, there is free wifi at the Gurye Public Bus Terminal. The pension owner speaks and writes simple English. He is very friendly, caring and warm/fatherly. We did not drive and every morning he would fetch us to the bus stop. In the evening, he will also pick us up from the bus stop. Even when he was sick, he would continue to do so. All of the staff are also friendly, most can speak some English (one of them speaks fluent English) and are very helpful to us. For instance, they would make sure we are doing fine, gave us ideas of where to go in Gurye, and helped us plan our days. I think simple breakfast are provided, though we did not try. You can also ask them for details of BBQ dinner. On the day that we checked out, the owner drove us to the terminal. And, he left us with the most touching words he ever spoke to us, before turning around and left. You can look at the photos of the pension on their brand new website, which accurately reflects how the pension looks like. I cannot think of anything that we need that the pension hasn’t catered for. I also wrote about my experience on my blog. It is this kind of warmth and environment that I yearn for, and keep wanting more of.

Reviewed By jetek99영암버스터미널에서 택시로 5분정도면 도착가능한 거리에 있으며 호스트가 지역주민들과 친분의 두터워 택시기사나 지역주민들에게 인지도가 높은듯 합니다. 월출산에 가깝고 무엇보다 천장이 높은 개별 한옥팬션독채로 구성되어 있어서 커플이나 가족단위의 조용한 휴식을 즐기시는 분들에게 안성맞춤입니다. 무엇보다 호스트가 친절해서 원한다면 월출산등산을 위한 다양한 정보와 픽업서비스까지 무료로 제공하고 있어 자동자없이 월출산을 등반하시는 분들에게 좋은 휴식처가 될듯 합니다. 가격도 다른 한옥팬션과 달리 저렴해서 1박2일 월출산 등반을 계획하시는 분들에게 안성맞춤인듯 합니다. 내부에 TV.냉장고,조리가능한 핫플레이트와 주방시설들이 있어 간단한 조리도 가능합니다. 단점은 바닥이 전기온돌이라 방바닥을 뜨끈뜨끈한데 내부 층고가 높아 멋스럽지만 내부 공기는 제법 차가워 이런 난방시스템을 적응하지 못하시는 분들에게는 겨울에 제법 춥게 느껴질수 있습니다.

비싸고 시설만 좋은 곳
Reviewed By Neoooooo주변에 아무것도 없음. 방값이 비싼만큼, 이윤을 남기지 못할 지언정 자체 매점을 운영 하든지 아니면 미니바라도 구비 해 놓고 추후에 청구를 하든지.. 숙박 서비스 개념이 잡혀 있지 않은 듯.. 게다가 오후 5시에 전원 퇴근.. 왜 그런 외진 곳에 비싼 숙박시설을 만들어놓고 저녁에는 인건비 절감차 직원들 다 퇴근해 버리는게 이해가 가지 않았으며.. 가는날이 장날이라고, 옆 밭에서는 퇴비를 뿌려 똥냄새가 하루 종일 났음. 밖에 나가면 똥냄새가 나는데, 어떻게 고기를 구워먹으라는지.. 유럽식 조식은 감자 사라다 샌드위치와 삶은 계란 주스 우유가 다임. 비싼만큼 실망 했음.
