Reviewed By Emmafraher77I have stayed here a few times and i really enjoy it, the rooms are spacious and have everything you need, especially when your staying for a few days. Anne is always so attentive and lovely and answers any needs you might have straight away. The price is also reasonable.

Good budget motel
Reviewed By Kikki0You are aware that this is a budget motel with little labels on everything, small portions of amenities, and a very uncomfortable mattress. It was clean but being near the road was quite noisy (all motels in the areas seem to be on that main road so no different, I expect). Grateful for the cleanliness but there was no delight in these rooms.

Local artist, Bettina, offers her home as a warm & welcoming place to stay on your trip to or through Woodville, Tararua. Two rooms are available. The first is a large bedroom with queen-sized bed & new carpet. The second room features bunks & 2 single beds. Beds are comfortable and in the morning, both cooked & continental breakfasts are available. Dinner can be had by prior arrangement. Free wifi is also available for guests.

Reviewed By karensR2402MOWe have just spent two nights in Woodville. We had a lovely stay with Bettina and Evan. They have a cute wee cottage that reminded me of the home I grew up in. It may not have to mod cons but the hospitality and friendliness made up for anything else. Felt as if we had spent a weekend with friends. I definitely recommend this B & B to anyone wanting the personal touch! They couldn’t do enough for us and we felt as though we were special! Thank you Bettina and Evan!

Planing a trip Traveling on SH2 The Post Office Hotel provides good clean cheap accommodation. There is a large outdoor parking area, entertainment, in-house family restaurant that provides country-sized meals and a range of dining areas, both inside and out. The Post Office Hotel has everything a good sports bar provides. Most major pay-per-view events are available free-of-charge to our customers, with full service TAB, darts, pool and gaming. For locals and travelers, the Post Office Hotel is a welcome oasis, on SH2.

Reviewed By PopaLesClean & tidy. Cheap. Beds were comfortable. Walk through to the bar and restaurant. Guys reckoned the schnitzel was great. Garlic bread was good. Lamb shanks cooked to perfection. Staff were helpful & friendly. Large meals.
