Good but missing some essentials
Reviewed By TorontoAmcThis hotel has an excellent location along the escarpment overlooking the opposite mountain. Check-in was simple and the receptionist spoke English. Our housekeeping room was along the back and featured a balcony off the bedroom and kitchen. The bed and bedding were fine and the bathroom large. The unit was clean although the paint was scuffed in a number of places, probably from luggage. The kitchen supplies were basic - we would have appreciated a coffee maker, kettle, tea pot, perhaps wine glasses. The unit door didn’t close reliably which was a concern. The downstairs bar was uniformly good with hot coffee, friendly staff, and nice pastry for breakfast. The restaurant was very busy on every night that we were there and the availability of some things was somewhat inexplicable-beer selection one evening gone the next, Pinsa Romana, a type of pizza, available on Sunday but not Monday. What we ordered was very good though, especially the Pinsa Romana.

Reviewed By G2731OEbarrycSILA!! Years ago I went fishing at Lago Arvo, near Larica. My friends and I were caught in an unexpected snowstorm!! Freezing! A local man came by and invited us into his restaurant, the "Guest House Cararcas" (closed for the season). He got a roaring fire going to warm us up and his wife fixed a large pot of steaming pasta! Really nice people!! They let us stay at a house nearby. The house was for their then-teenaged daughter for when she got married.

Clean, attractive, comfortable
Reviewed By gavinRomeClean, spacious room in an attractive alpine style hotel overlooking the lake. I stayed for two nights with my wife. It’s a very new hotel, made using lots of wood, where everything worked perfectly. The host, Floriana, was friendly, efficient and helpful. The breakfast was good and ample. A good place to stay

Biafora Resort,run by the family since 1976, is located in Evergreen lung Sila to 1250 Mt, a few kilometers from the main tourist areas. It is a 4-star hotel open all year with 21 rooms completely renovated, tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort, a dining room, a banquet hall, a conference room and a health club with indoor pool (paid access ). Also a licensed bar with adjoining sale of tobacco products where you can taste wines and spirits Domestic and Foreign. Biafora Resort is very sensitive to what are the environmental issues. It was, in fact, the first hotel in the province of Cosenza and Crotone who invested in solar thermal and photovoltaic panels, is the first facility to have adopted magnetic cards in the hotel with the "smart room system" with regard switching off the light from the special detachment of the card slot and finally the use of biomass instead of gas and heating oil. The rooms are comfortable, and the indoor swimming pool/sauna/spa it's an excellent topic to do at the end of the day spent visiting the surrounding.

Reviewed By giovannas421Abbiamo prenotato qui all’ultimo minuto e per una notte ! La responsabile e’ stata molto disponibile e l’accoglienza eccezionale ! Consigliatissimo per la posizione fronte lago, parcheggio riservato e suite nuove e pulite . Camere silenziose e colazione servita all’ultimo piano , la parte salata offre una degustazione di prodotti tipici, molto apprezzata.
