Reviewed By Philip MThis Best Western is excellent. Friendly professional front desk and manager. Accommodated our early check-in. Efficient check-in process. Rooms were large, had a good temperature, clean linens - good mattresses, No mold, bugs, or room disrepair. Bathrooms are clean and well laid out. Water is clean - plenty of hot water for showers. Very quiet, with no hallway or traffic noise. Hallways and elevator clean. The breakfast was really very good. Omelets, sausage, toast fruit juice decent coffee. Amazing because it was included. Cheerful friendly staff on the way out. Excellent value.

Reviewed By 137LindaB137Clean, has laundry facilities which we used because hydro was out at home due to storm. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Fridge, micro. Close to 401. All and all a lovely hotel. We came to have a shower, again because of the storm and no hydro at home.

They should know better
Reviewed By davidgI6721VAI expected to find covid had made things difficult. I did't expect this. I was there for three weeks. I was told that house keeping would be available, if requested, due to covid. The cleaning staff work alone. I left for a day on the first weekend. I asked and was told they were short staffed and I would likely not happen. It did, so that was ok. This has nothing to do with covid, this is about making money. I asked at the front desk as to how I get my garbage picked up. I was told they are leaving a garage door open at the front of the building, just put it "there". There is a drity industrial compactor with an old fashioned latch on the door. I left the garbage bags on the floor in front of it. They are very close to the GM Plant in Oshawa. There were many of us staying there and working at GM. I am sure GM is a big customer of theirs. We were all expected to be at GM for 6 am. Breakfast was not sevrved untill after 6 am. Managemnet at this holiday inn needs to get in the game.

The Comfort Inn Oshawa is a newly renovated hotel located in Oshawa Ontario. We are conveniently located just off the 401 and a 5 minute walk to the Go train station. The landmark movie theatre plaza is just a short drive away and is home to several restaurants as well as many entertainment options. We are right around the corner from the Oshawa Centre mall. Amenities include complimentary Deluxe hot breakfast served from 6am-9am on weekdays and 7am-10am on weekends. Free high speed internet access in all guest rooms and public areas, fridge and microwaves in all rooms. Ground floor rooms have drive up patio access.
Stunk of cigarette smoke
Reviewed By christinemS1474XURoom was spacious, clean enough. Unfortunately even though it was a non smoking room the whole place stunk of cigarettes and there were burns on the side table. I was booked for three nights but left after one due to the overwhelming smell. Looks like there are long term guests living there, was quite noisy at night as they sit outside the ground floor rooms.

Reviewed By lynziemacdonaldPool & Hot tub etc are not open, despite the website stating they are. Called to compare in-house rates to online and was told they are operational. Rooms and hotel overall need upgrading and repairs. Defiantly over priced for the value and conditions of rooms and property. It’s a 2/3 star property at most for the area.

Very lovely
Reviewed By kaylyn21My boyfriend and I stayed a couple of nights November 23-25th, 2020 and found it to be better than the last time. Extra Covid measures were taken so we felt safe. Beds were extra comfortable, did not want to leave them. It was neat how our name was on the main screen of the tv. We plan on returning soon.
