Wonderful stay
Reviewed By jennifersV9313LSWhat a great find. We loved it so much we have extended our stay twice ?. Rooms are decorated nicely and extremely clean. Swimming pool is great. Many restaurants a short walk away. Marieel and Putu are so helpful and certainly looked after us. If we are ever back in Lovina we will definitely stay here again.

Reviewed By BecPrivThis is a beautiful, peaceful, comfortable place to stay. The king size bed is comfortable, the cats are delightful and gave me my cat fix. Breakfast is fresh, delicious and made with love. The gardens are exquisite... The colours are mesmerising. It is lovely sitting outside and listening to the sound of the pool. Location is great. It is peaceful here. Hosts and staff are delightful. The WiFi is not great, however, that is something that can improved. Recommended.

Recreation seekers will feel right at home in our two holiday houses for up to 5 in the large bungalow or up to 2 guests in the small bungalow. They are situated in a rural area, just 300 meters from the sea, surrounded by nature and Balinese life. Both bungalows give a lot of privacy, especially the smaller bungalow with its terrace in a secluded corner of the garden. The larger bungalow is situated quite central, overlooking the swimming-pool with the surrounding natural garden and the high bamboo trees behind. All bedrooms have double beds with mosquito nets, seats with small tables and wardrobes. All bedrooms have air conditioning systems, but we can switch to natural cooling with fans and by opening the glass panels of the ventilation windows. The bathrooms have shower with hot water. Furthermore there is a guest kitchen in a separate building, a pavilion (ideal for massage and bird watching) and also our private house right next door. Each bungalow has its own fridge and free coffee, tea and drinking water. A rich mixed breakfast is provided. In general, we operate in an environmentally friendly manner. We even do beekeeping in the backyard. We, a Balinese-German family, will do everything to make your holiday dreams come true. We organize transfer, trips around the island, snorkeling, diving, dolphin watching, hiking and all other holiday activities.

Reviewed By Ragnar_9As our previously booked accommodation near Lovina suffered from the noise of a huge building site we had to move and came to ‘Saraswati’ at short notice. And we couldn’t have been more fortunate to find this substitute! The well-kept premises of Saraswati Holiday House (consisting of two Balinese-style bungalows for guests and the family home of the German and Balinese owners) is situated next to a small river (where I spotted my first Balinese kingfisher! :o) amidst a beautiful lush garden with a pool and two bamboo gazebos. Futhermore, right between the two bungalows there is a small building that serves as a kitchen with basic equipment and one fridge for each bungalow where your daily breakfast is being stored to be prepared by yourself (without being dependent on breakfast times!) – by the way, the breakfast is really great! Apart from breakfast basics such as toast, jam, honey and eggs it consists of a huge bowl of a changing variety of fresh fruit and home-backed bread. Even though the grounds are not that huge we found it quite amazing how we always had someone to talk to if we had questions such as the rental of a scooter, arranging for a driver, a restaurant recommendation etc. but otherwise felt absolutely private and undisturbed. Various Restaurants are only two streets away (we recommend Warung Bali9 and Warung Made), the centre of Lovina is about 15 minutes by foot. We stayed for one week, made some excursions but we were rarely at the sea (3 Minutes by foot) because we enjoyed the tropical garden so much - and, to be honest, found it very hard to leave thanks to Burgel, her family and the always friendly and helpful but completely unobtrusive staff.

Reviewed By hopelesnomadThe hotel is located at walkable distance to the Lovina beach. Easy access to the souvenir shops, bars and restaurants too. The owner was a nice guy and helpful too. The staff were friendly. The room was nice. It was spacious with all wooden interiors. Had a big bathroom with tub. The shower area was open air which was good. Had a balcony and a porch with bamboo chairs. The hotel is actually like cottages inside a garden although the gaden was not maintained well. The garden area also hosts a lot of traditional style statues which actually feels good to walk around or to sit and relax on the porch. Overall a nice property to stay and relax.

Reviewed By chyncseBeen here for 2 nights. There is nothing special with these hotel except the atmosphere. The atmosphere is green and cool. There is no kettle and no tooth brush. They have just 5 channel on the TV. The FO Staff is not polite and not helpful. I recommend this hotel if you want to relax and no need a lot of stuff or necessity.
