Reviewed By Hui Min CWe come back here almost every year because it feels like a second home, that is how comfortable Roel, Juud and their wonderful staff make you feel. It's not a luxury resort, it's better because it has soul. Diving: Right on the doorstep of Bunaken Marine Park, with gorgeous sea walls and beautiful coral scapes, as well as fantastic muck dive sites for some weird and wonderful critters. The dive guides are very experienced, safe and just lovely people. The boat is much sturdier and bigger, as well as better maintained than many dive operations I've been to. We've been coming for 10 years or so and we still see new things underwater every trip. There are a tonne of turtles at some dive sites, and even more now after Covid. The fish life and coral at some sites have improved as well. Accommodation: Huge chalets with separate toilet and shower, fridge, wardrobe and large verandah. We wake up to bird song every morning, as we're surrounded by a beautiful garden full of orchids, palms, fruit trees and pond features. There's also an infinity pool to relax in. Food: Breakfast is usually french toast, pancakes, fresh fruit and eggs any way you like them. Sometimes there are local kueh (pastries) as well. Lunch on the boat can be fried rice or noodles, or sandwiches. In the resort there are more choices. Dinner is a buffet, and we have had grilled fish, satay, different kinds of curries, roast chicken, tempeh vegetables and salad and always a yummy soup. All made from fresh local ingredients and mostly from local cuisine but adapted to European tastes. There's really no other place like Lumba Lumba, I can't describe it in a way that does it justice.

Service is great and they helped us with all of our questions. - The quarantine here went very smooth. Pcr's, transport and meals in the room. The food is plentiful and very tasty. - The rooms are big, clean and comfy. And the garden is beautiful. Worth the money. This made our stay here just perfect! Highly recommended.

The food was delicious and the accommodations were perfect. I would not hesitate to visit again. Bunaken is just another gorgeous place in Indonesia ready for eager divers!

The location is devine, it feels a million miles away from the worries of modern life without giving up some of the small luxuries. The managers Rob and Selvi will sort out anything you want, including full day fishing / whale / dolphin watching (take sunscreen!) Sven and his team are some of the best dive guides I've had and so much to see!!! And all this within easy reach of Manado. I'm definitely coming back!
