Hello, I am Alan and wife Amanda we own and run the Picture Framing Business at Smithbrook Kilns Cranleigh. Having trained as a picture framer after college in the 1980's I have worked at high end art galleries in Guildford, Walton, Weybridge. We are highly skilled in all techniques of picture framing. You can come and see the workshop where all framing is completed.

I would highly recommend a visit to the Fired Frog, we all had so much fun and in a fabulous setting. We visited as a family and received a warm and friendly welcome. There is a huge choice of fantastic items to paint, some lovely seasonal bits too. Advice is on hand if needed and there is a lovely selection of colours, paints and items to use to create your work of art. Refreshments are available and are reasonably priced. A great way to spend a morning with the children or friends. We look forward to returning.

Went here with two adults and three children aged 10, 4 and 2. To be honest the two younger ones were probably a bit too young, their attention span only allowed for a very quick session. I’ve been before with older children which was more successful - and less stressful!!!!! The lady who was running the ‘cafe’ was very very helpful and also very tolerant of the odd tantrum! This is a lovely venue to take children, they love the opportunity to splash some paint and be creative. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but I guess you pay for the novelty.
