Great accommodation in lovely small town
Reviewed By durrae jThis was our first night in Germany coming from Prague, and it was a real charmer. The town is genuine Germany, not touristy, with its own brewery, which was excellent. Our host(s) were friendly and helpful and we had an excellent meal of local fare. The room was spacious and very clean, and a great value compared to what we'd get here in the states. If you want a lovely inn away from tourist kitsch, this is it. I would go back, and highly recommend you check it out as well.

Reviewed By Wolfgang JDie Lage des Hauses ist etwas außerhalb in einem Ortsteil von Treuchtlingen, der sich aber gut über einen Radweg erreichen lässt. Die Betreiber des Hauses sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und erfüllen jeden Wunsch. Spontan auftretende Probleme werden sofort und unkompliziert gelöst. Das Frühstück wird für jeden Gast separat in einer Frischhalte-Vitrine bereitgestellt und für den Brötchenkorb hat jede Person eine eigene Gebäck-Zange am Tisch. Das gibt ein gutes Gefühl in Zeiten von Corona. Ich wurde auch nach meinem Covid-Impfnachweis gefragt, was (leider) nicht überall üblich war. Für das WLAN wurde unaufgefordert der Zugangs-Code bekanntgegeben und das Netz war sehr stabil und zuverlässig. Essen konnte man im idyllischen Biergarten hinter dem Haus, der sehr unkonventionell aber äußerst gemütlich unter Bäumen eingerichtet war. Für das Rad gab es einen Abstell-Schuppen hinter dem Haus, genau wie in der Hotel-Beschreibung angegeben! Die Einrichtung von Zimmer und Bad war doch sehr aus der Zeit gefallen und entspricht nicht mehr den heutigen Ansprüchen. Allerdings war es im Zusammenhang mit dem Preis völlig akzeptabel und die Sauberkeit war nicht zu bemängeln. Trotzdem müsste die komplette Zimmereinrichtung inclusive Badezimmer bald komplett saniert werden, da es einfach nicht mehr in die heutige Zeit passt.

Nicht zu empfehlen, wenn dort eine Feier stattfindet
Reviewed By LuenefeeDie Zimmer sind absolut in Ordnung. Leider war im Restaurant eine Feier mit lauter Musik. Ich gehörte zwar dazu, bin aber früher aufs Zimmer. Die Musik war im Zimmer sehr laut und der Bass hat das Bett zum vibrieren gebracht. An Schlaf war nicht zu denken. Frühstück wird einem individuell zusammengestellt. War alles super und der Inhaber ist super engagiert.

einfache Unterkunft aber geht in Ordnung
Reviewed By deby0Die Unterkunft ist wirklich einfach aber das geht schon in Ordnung, Betten sind eher wie in einer besseren Jugendherberge und wirklich sehr klein der Komplex im Ganzen ist allerdings sehr interessant, für eine nacht auf jeden Fall eine gute Sache....
