We travel with our family pet and are made to feel welcome, with a pet bed and puppy treats in the room for him.

Casa Grande is an older 4 level hotel with amazing panoramic views of Qualicum Beach. Just steps across the street to the beach. Care and detail has gone into the maintenance of this older motel. Our room was renovated beautifully - on top floor. I love the little nook that most of the rooms seem to have, with comfy chairs overlooking the magnificent views. Immaculately clean - even the elevator had extra decor touches. You can tell that the owners / managers care about the property - and that makes such a world of difference!

All of our rooms have a full kitchen and a beautiful ocean view. Our suites all have undergone extensive renovation. In the upper suites you can sit on your private balcony overlooking the ocean and enjoy the cool sea breezes as you watch the cruise ships pass. The lower suites are walk on waterfront with sliding patio doors opening to our manicured lawn. You have your choice of bachelor, one bedroom or two bedroom suites. Every room has cable TV and high-speed internet access should you get tired of watching the wildlife on the beach or the spectacular sunsets. Unfortunately our accommodation is not suited for small children.

Reviewed By William CA COVID getaway, and a lovely place to do it in. Spotlessly clean, gorgeous view and lovely, comfortable rooms! Close to town and to various attractions in the area. Nice walks close by as well. Barbecue, picnic tables and decking available.

Our 7 acre site offers lots to see and do plus a great location to experience the Parksville/Qualicum Beach area. With a wide array of campsites, cabins, contemporary style sleeping rooms and a recently renovated convenience store, Riverside Resort has a variety of activities that are sure to bring out the kid in everyone.
Poor business practices
Reviewed By 209ravinadLike another reviewer, I had a stay booked for July. I only made the booking in March by calling the resort directly to make the reservation. Was extremely peeved that the owner is choosing to increase rates for summer and not honor their confirmation email with prices and dates. They phoned us to tell us their new price and stated that they absolutely don't have to honor our reservation since they have given us more than 30 days notice. Further, the owner replied to another reviewer and said that it was because they booked a year in advance.... Seems like a last minute cash grab? I would hate to go and see what other ways the owner might gauge customers.....

The Sand Pebbles Inn is situated at the heart of a miles-long streach of beach many consider to be the finest on Vancouver Island. The Inn is minutes away frome sites like Little Qualicum Falls, Cathedral Grove, Enlishman River and Coombs. World famous Longbeach is an easy day-trip away. With a beautiful golf course next door , as well as all that sand and surf right outside your door there's something for everyone. All rooms have an ocean view and feature bath, shower, cable TV complimentary in-room coffee, fridge and some with kitchenette.

Reviewed By Ambassador438983We enjoyed our only night at the Sand Pebbles Inn. It was our first time in Qualicum Beach. At first I was a little put off by the exterior as we approached the Inn as is looked a little run down but the room inside was very nice and comfortable. I think it was updated recently. Unfortunately we were not made aware that the Seawall had collapsed recently so unfortunately even though we had an ocean view it was obstructed by orange netting contouring the area to be repaired and no one could use that sitting area which is one of the nice feature of the Inn. I am only giving a 4 and not a 5 because If I had known that I probably would of booked somewhere else, but we were only told at our arrival. We did go and take a walk on the beach to capture the beautiful sunset, we could not really take good picture off the balcony because of the Seawall but it that had not been an issue I would of given 5 stars.

The location of the property is quite convenient, with just a few minutes walk to the beach and a quick drive to the highway. Will love to stay here again on my next visit to the island.
