Pleasant though dull, like Ingelheim itself
Reviewed By benjaminf537Ingelheim is very clean and quiet. So is this hotel. Ingelheim is very dull. So is this hotel. The breakfast is kinda okayish but you'd get a better breakfast in a smaller, less refined town, I suspect.

Lovely family house, 15 min away from Mainz
Reviewed By Jean CThe hotel is located at 2 km from the Motorway to Mainz. It is a recent and well maintained family house, with a free car park at the front. Our room (#5) was spacious, super clean, well equiped and very comfortable. Breakfast offer was fully satisfactory. Just across the road, the family who runs the hotel has a restaurant serving traditional food (sligthly over-priced).

Very poor communication
Reviewed By KishandesWe identified this hotel as a possible base for exploring the Rhino valley. We emailed through to make a reservation but the Hotel’s response was very poor. So much so that in the event we declined to stay at an establishment that could not communicate with their customers to sort out a booking. I must add that my one star is only in relation to the communication issue. I cannot comment on the hotel and its facilities because we never got see the place or stay there.

Reviewed By S314JHrenatekEine sehr schöne Zeit. Das Hotel liegt zwar dicht an einer Autobahn, aber das wird durch die fürsorgliche und unkomplizierte Art des Eigentümers absolut wieder wett gemacht. Er gab viele Hilfestellungen, Rat und Ideen, was die Freizeitgestaltung betraf. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig, sehr nettes familiäres Personal , und auch die Spätaufsteher bekamen noch etwas ab. Kleine Wünsche werden sofort erfüllt! Hinter dem Haus befindet sich ein kleiner Garten, der wunderbar mal kurz zum Chillen genutzt werden kann. Nicht weit entfernt liegt der Rhein, so dass sich dieses Hotel wunderbar für einen Zwischenstopp bei einer Fahrradtour anbietet. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder. Vielen Dank für alles. Renate

No German Gemuetlichkeit
Reviewed By Juergen-M01The personnel shows a surprising low level of professionalism. Things like making fun of guests if these don't find their way in the premises. Our room had no view but onto tourists taking pictures of the Bismarck tower. The room was noisy (animal park close-by with animals that do not belong there). Breakfast was accompanied by somebody with a vacuum cleaner. Breakfast buffet plates were cling-wrapped. Hotel and restaurant interior is an awkward mixture. The place was very busy with the preparation for lunch as it was mother's day. We had to leave the room at 1000. Credit cards would be accepted after discussion. The place is not worth the money.

Very comfortable
Reviewed By tjanderson5We stayed for one night at this hotel. If one is into horses, this is the place to stay. They have a large stable of fine horses right next to the hotel. The restaurant is well regarded by the locals, but we were invited out for dinner and didn’t have a chance to sample their fare. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff was efficient and friendly. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful.

Reviewed By xazzoQuite decent hotel - my single room was not too big, but the room had the furniture which was needed and also decorated in a cosy way. Whether you like animal print (tiger, zebra etc) on your bed depends on your personal taste. I haven´t seen it before, and some might find it kitschy but I thought it was OK. Location fine just outside the little cosy city of Ingelheim, you can walk into the city centre in just 10 minutes. The 3 things I did not like about this hotel were the following: -quite hard beds - I prefer them softer -quite thin walls - not nice to be able to hear your "neighbour" on the other side of the wall snoring! -insects in the room - found 2 insects, one of them sitting on the ceiling which might indicate that cleaning is maybe not looking too much onto the ceiling... Apart from these things, the hotel does the job, and the breakfast has quite a good variety of food and drinks.

Reviewed By gpenerbad food, no internet, and rude workers .one day i came at 11 at night. the main entrance door was closed and my kee {card } didnt open .i rang knoked .....nothing at 2 after midnight i found another hotel just for that night morning, i came to the owner told her that i slept in another hotel and i think that she has to subtract that night i recieved shower of curses.....in german the food is bad the wi fi doesnot work
