Excellent choice of hotel
Reviewed By SteveinstanstedThe hotel is as described, wonderful location and facilities. Our room was large, the bed was comfortable and full queen size. Bathroom modern and a large room. We ate at the restaurant which was good food. We had half board and it gave us most of the a la carte menu to choose from. Breakfast was more than adequate with lots of choice.

The place is marvellous and perfect for those who likes walkings. The room was very cozy, clean. During the stay we had a feeling like we are at home. There are a lot of possibilities for hiking routes from Armeno and also by car you can go to see many different places along the lake Orta, also lago Maggiore. The trip to Mottarone mountain can also be started from Armeno (not far from the hotel). There are very beautiful views from the hotel and the town in the whole. The Spirituality Center "Maria Candida" is located in Armeno, a small center on the hills of Lake Orta, 5 minutes from Orta San Giulio, 15 minutes from Mount Mottarone and 30 minutes from Lake Maggiore (distances by car). He began the reception activity in 1971, as House of Spiritual Exercises for the Sisters of Charity of Santa Giovanna Antida Thouret, for the will of the General Mother, Sr. Maria Candida Torchio. Over time, the Center has expanded its reception to the Dioceses and Parishes, to other male and female religious congregations, to Catholic Schools for weeks or weekends of Spiritual Exercises; and then open the reception throughout the year, such as holiday home for groups, individuals and families. Reviewed By VicrefThis is a not a hotel but a Spirituality Centre that offers rooms (no other typical hotel amenities) to stay in, meals to eat, and quiet contemplation should one need it. The rooms were clean and the breakfast and dinner were good.

Reviewed By JL0000A very quiet and peaceful location in the countryside outside Armeno. The B&B is remote located, only accessable by car through a very small and bumpy road. Friendly hosts, well structured rooms, nice views over the mountains and a part of lake Orta. Very interesting surroundings with a lot of things to see and do (if you have a car). Breakfast was good, but could be improved by adding some eggs, cheese or ham/sausages. Overall a very nice stay.
