A nice walk (slightly uphill) through the old part of Zemun leads you through the rows of Austro-Hungarian houses to a beautiful tower. Great view of the city and the rivers are available nearby and you can take different routes back to the city and find good restaurants beneath the hill, on the Danube river quay...

there is a wild island with birds and many animals and woods nearby the center of the zemun...it is nice for walks and to stand here in a camp and play valleyball...but the only...problem is where to sleep by night because of mosquitos...oh my good...so take care.You can swim there at august...and at the beginnig of september...

Zemunski park has several beautiful buildings. Pinki hall of sports, Majka Jugovica school from 1st to 8th grade, and high school Zemun gymnasium from 9th grade.

here at the river danube banks I spent this summer hot day.with a song of yu group: with river danube strokes the winds i was walking by...it says...when the danube strokes the winds are you and me different worlds..on serbian language: dunavom sibaju vetrovi jesmo li mi suprotni svetovi...just try to imagine..be here and you can see a plenty of animals...swans.white swans on river...from the zooo...are u ready 4 adventure..

The streets leading to the Zemun center are old narrow and virtually take you back to 18th century . In the heart of old Zemun, right underneath the medieval Fortress of Gardos ,lays Nikolajevska Church built in1731 as memorial to the relics of St.Nikola. The church was constructed in Baroque style and has gold plated carved out Iconostasis. Its valuable treasury contains numerous 18th century religious artwork. Heavenly nice. Prefect visit if your going to Zemun. It is located right across the street from Gordos tower so you can't miss it. It is also one of the churches to visit if your already going to Gordos tower and Zemun. Free entrance.
