Wonderful stay (again!) at this great hotel
Reviewed By SholliI can not recommend this hotel highly enough! It’s a lovely hotel in the hills above Limone, so it has the most beautiful views overlooking the lake. The hill is quite steep so if walking is an issue then you may have a few difficulties. But, the hotel does run a mini bus into limone, at a small charge. Or you could get a taxi from the lake front. This was our third stay and it was fantastic. The rooms are a good size, and very comfortable. And I believe all have a balcony. The staff are all a credit to the hotel. They are incredibly helpful, polite, and lovely. The food is amazing! Such a wide varied choice at each meal service. We were full board so also had lunch at the hotel. Who ever makes the cakes and desserts is incredibly talented. I could’ve been like Dawn French in the vicar of Dibley and just stuck my head in the cakes! Lol. Beautiful. When we left before breakfast they even supplied a packed breakfast for us. I hope that we will return again, as it’s a wonderful hotel in a beautiful location, and a great base to explore the northern shores of lake Garda!

I was particularly grateful to the staff when I had to extend my stay in Italy due to Covid, and the staff looked after me really well. A huge thank you to the team for making a week's isolation comfortable.

Beautiful area, took lots of quiet walks to explore. Room was very basic but comfortable and clean. Couldn't ask for more!

The setting is beautiful and the hotel and grounds are well maintained. The staff was friendly, and offered restaurant and shop recommendations.

Reviewed By FerCostantiniGomesIf you are used to travel and have had experiences with different types of hotels, you can easily tell that San Martino is far away of being a four star hotel. The rooms are dated, small and look like more as hospital rooms. The staff, yet courteous, is very limited and the breakfast very poor. They are more focused in events and receptions. If you are planning to stay at Terme di Boario, my advice is to look for the 3 star hotels. They have a better cost-benefit.
