Myself and my good lady booked a ski level 1 & 2 ahead of our ski holiday to Chamonix, the tuition we had was brilliant, David was confident, reassuring, and very patient, he taught us the basics of slow speed control. Ski level 2 was with Peter, again, brilliant, he taught us how to to start making turns, he explained what we needed to do in very simple terms, reassured me when I cocked it up, told me what I did wrong and how to correct it. Genuinely couldn’t wish for better instructors, big thanks to both of you. Thanks.

Absolutely brilliant day- we love it here. The staff are always so helpful and friendly and covid measures couldn’t be any better. Excellent value for money, fantastic day out for all ages, always so much to do and as well as Thomas Land wonderful rides there are some top class thrill rides. We had some pizza and cakes from Mrs Kyndleys tea room and they were top class, picnic benches, toilets and rides being cleaned constantly and everything clean and well kept. It was such a positive day giving us brilliant memories at this difficult Covid-time. We have a daughter with a disability and the staff are always so kind and accommodating thanks for a truly remarkable day

I'd read the most recent reviews before our visit and told my boyfriend not to get his hopes up for too many rides. With the park being open 10-4 and a 3 hour drive up from Bath, I said we'd probably only get on 4 or 5 rides. Well! I was completely wrong. Even with social distancing in the queues and most of the rides being half full for more social distancing, we managed 12 rides on both days we were there (Thurs 22nd and Fri 23rd) and didn't practically every ride in the park, even though we entered the park at 10.40am both days. I've put our wait times for both days below. The staff were all lovely and were enforcing the distancing in the queues. There was no cleaning of the rides between guests, but realistically there was no time. The onus was on you to sanatise your hands before and after. There was a ten minute malfunction on Galactica and Thirteen was shut for half of the first day, but otherwise everything seemed to be running okay. It was a brilliant two days in the park with perfect weather ☀️ Day one Smiler 30 mins Oblivion 29 mins Rita 15 mins Sky ride Rita to nemesis 7 mins Galactica 40 mins with breakdown Nemesis 5 mins River rapids 6 mins Runaway mine train 2 mins Wickerman 10 mins Spinball whizzer no queue Smiler 2 mins Oblivion 2 mins Thirteen 28 minutes Day two Galactica 5 mins Funk n fly 5 mins Sky ride 5 mins Rita 35 mins Enterprise no queue Mix tape 5 mins Smiler 26 mins Oblivion 7 mins Spinball whizzer 5 mins Wicker Man 43 mins Nemesis 20 mins Blade no queue Galactica 40 mins

Big Play Barn

If your little explorer has exhausted the living room as a play area then maybe it's time to trek down to The Big Play Barn. Let the little ones go wild in the play area where slides, ball pits, rope bridges, a fire man's pole, and more provide endless fun adventurers. Feel free to explore our website to see some of the fantastic things we have to offer!

We visited the Big Play Barn yesterday for the first time since lockdown. We were looking forward to it very much and had booked online 2 days before. However, when we got there we discovered that I had mistaken the day and we had been booked for the day before! They were fully booked and couldn’t let us in. My 4 year old grandson was distraught and burst into tears! We got in the car to go home, but within 5 minutes my phone rang. It was Steve from the Big Play Barn! The young man on reception had told him what had happen and he said he didn’t want anyone to go home disappointed! He offered us places at 4.00 that afternoon or another day if that wasn’t convenient - and we could stay as long as we liked. We went back at 4.00 and the children had a wonderful time! The Big Play Barn is a great place for children - something for all ages, clean, well managed and the food is good. I heartily recommend it as a place for post-lockdown children to let off some steam. Thank you to Steve and the staff for their wonderful customer care and for a most enjoyable afternoon.

Waterworld

The UK’s No.1 Tropical Aqua Park is based in the Heart of the Midlands. Waterworld is an epic adventure for the whole family to enjoy. A great day out in Staffordshire. Prepare yourself for our breath taking white knuckle rides. Experience 375 feet of ups and downs in a single raft. Race family and friends with exciting twists and turns. Descent into our plunge pools or just relax in our Bubble Pools. Jump and ride the waves in our beach effect wave pool or dare you brave the dark cave of our rapids ride with family and friends. In late 2019, we wanted our loyal guests to be the first to know our gigantic new wave system had been installed. This complements our four brand new super thrill rides in Tornado Alley, featuring Thunderbolt, Cyclone, Hurricane and Stormchaser. The tallest, fastest water slides in the UK… Ride them if you dare! We have a large restaurant, which offers a full range of freshly prepared meals, including halal, gluten-free, and nut free choices.

I visited with my children and grandchildren on Saturday and had a wonderful time. I was a spectator and was able to sit in the cafe area to have a cup of tea whilst the younger ones had fun! The park is suitable for all ages, with some enjoying the new big slides whilst the younger members of our party enjoyed the smaller jungle part. They had lots of fun and were exhausted by the end of the day. We will be back soon.
