What a view

Reviewed By bncvarg

Their website does not give this view justice..the mountains and the marina were breathtaking, so peaceful and relaxing The hotel was easy to find, plenty of parking, and the staff was pleasant. We ate breakfast at the hotel and it was delicious with great service.

Disappointed

Reviewed By Voyage745621

Poor signage, hot tubs are barely warm. Very confusing layout. No sauna weird in a ski resort . Fingers prints on windows. Need better lighting in bathroom. Very dim for makeup. Bright spot, covered parking, with plug in for EV. Although not a proper charging station.

BW Premier?

Reviewed By JohninBC

Check-in was efficient, but not particularly friendly. We arrived around 3pm, and were surprised to see a line of housekeeping carts in the hallway. This is not the impression that I think a Premier level hotel would want to give. Our room was clean, but there was no refrigerator (just a wine cooler), and no microwave. A microwave is available for a fee. The coffee machine is an old-fashioned small carafe drip type, with one package of coffee supplied. I cannot remember the last time we stayed in a hotel where there was no microwave or single serve coffee machine. We have stayed a few times at the other BW property in town, and I do not understand how that property is rated in a lower BW class. We will stay there in future, and will not return to Prestige Rocky Mountain Resort. I agree with the comments of another reviewer who said that they had not received a follow up email from the hotel after their stay. We have stayed at many BW properties and always receive a email inquiring about our visit.

Beautiful setting but missing customer service

Reviewed By H4846RRmarye

We went for the spa treatment and hot springs, didn't stay overnight (because no one returned our message inquiring about accommodations). The front desk attendant was not terribly enthusiastic about serving us - maybe because we were "visitors" and not guests? Didn't tell us that we needed coins for the lockers, didn't really know about the restaurant; didn't provide water; wasn't sure if there was a clock to help us keep track of time before our spa treatments. We sure didn't feel welcomed. The pools were OUTSTANDING, and made up for the lack of hospitality. The spa itself is small, with no clear change room (you change beside the treatment table); Nicole was lovely but seemed very busy and rushed. Hadn't been trained on facials and it wasn't a great facial but the deep tissue massage was excellent. We would NOT go back to the restaurant; again we seemed to be more of an inconvenience. We asked for bread to go with our meagre pasta meal but they had run out of bread. The ceasar salad was excellent; the pasta meal mediocre and small portion and the olive oil citrus cake was a big miss. Would go back for the spas - clean, beautiful and an experience, but not the restaurant or the spa.
