Exceptional

After a couple years of trying to make a trip from Canada my husband and I were finally able to stay at Spanish Point House for four nights. From start to finish our stay was exceptional…from the room to the wonderful service from the staff we enjoyed every minute. Aoife and Pat went above and beyond to make sure our every need was met . We had golf and horse back riding arranged as well as dinner reservations. Breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious and service from Kitty was a highlight. Thank you all again for such a wonderful stay.

Anniversary weekend

This was our second visit to the Armada Hotel, to celebrate our wedding anniversary. As soon as we registered, we had a wonderful greeting and as we got to our beautiful room we were greeted by a welcoming card, chocolates and Baileys Irish Cream. We would like to express our thanks to Ann and the other ladies on our floor for looking after our requests. They were always present with a smile and a "can we help you". The hotel features, including the bar and restaurants were first class. The view from the breakfast room was superb, and there,. every morning we were greeted and looked after by Patrick who really made us smile. This is a wonderful hotel with first class features, wonderful food and gorgeous views. We thoroughly recommend it, for all occasions SALLY and Wayne

We attended a wedding here at the weekend- the food was outstanding. The staff were very friendly. The facilities and views were amazing. Highly recommend. I highly recommend the monkfish and chocolate fondant. The venison was a little rib tough but very tasty with the cranberry sauce

Coast Lodge B&B

We are situated on the beach in Spanish Point. Spanish Point is a seaside village beside Milltown Malbay in County Clare, Ireland. It is also one of the better surfing spots in County Clare. The name refers to the wrecking of ships of the Spanish Armada off the coast in 1588. Coast Lodge has 4 spacious rooms and one apartment. Peace, romance and serenity can be really enjoyed here. We do great food. Our chef prepares a varied menu using the freshest local seafood, seasonal vegetables, local cheeses and organic meat. Pop by for lunch, dinner or a light bite and the best pizza. We do chilled out drinks. Our cosy, modern bar features a wide variety of wines and beers. Our outdoor seated terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy an evening drink as you watch the sun go down over the ocean waves.

Worst place in Ireland

Terrible tasteless fish and chips, the pizza is tasteless. And cutlery is not given, although the good news is that if they make sure you are an Irish quest, you will be distinguished from other nationalities, and you will be served as a real QUEST, which is actually a fundamental thing in other restaurants, but not at this place. The dirty and horrible clothed service staff mostly programmed to do right things especially for the Irish people. As currently presented, we wouldn’t go again and not recommended to others. Fortunately, there are other more correct, quest friendlier places where the food is tastier and the serving is perfect. I mean for everybody from all around the world without discrimination.

We stayed here for two nights for a wedding. It's a great place to stay. Big room. Comfy beds. Lovely host who made sure we had everything we needed. I left some belongings behind and he even posted them back to me no problem. A gent and lovely to deal with. Will definitely stay at Barkers again.

A Home Away From Home

Reviewed By catdev2019

Had a lovely warm welcome from the host who greeted us personally. We were shown to our room which was a large spacious room overlooking the sea. The room as stated was spotless and spacious. We also had a small fridge which was great for cooling our drinks. We had a lovely full irish breakfast served personally by the owner. We were staycationing and stayed in a handfull of B&B's in Donegal, Galway and Sligo. Out of all, it is evident that this lady's business is her passion and it shows in her hospitality. I would stay here again or recommend to others. Lots of lovely walks by the beaches and cliffs of moher are not too far away!
