Reviewed By marknX5033MRFamily room that was about as big as a closet. Broken furniture, shabby decor. Staff are nice but not very experienced. Breakfast is what you would expect at a hostel. No table service, no options. 4 stars? No way. Avoid!

The staff i super friendly and breakfast place has a great spot. You really get best out of a hostel/vandrarhem. The terass is located nice in the sun where you can enjoy a beer.

Reviewed By AnthonyIGSuperby located, this is a very good choice for staying in Smogen. I had a very nice room on the ground floor with a balcony overlooking the harbour. All rooms have shared bathroom facilities. The reception and breakfast area are located on the waterfront, whereas the rooms are up some steep uneven steps to a parallel road. Service is good and the rooms are pleasant and clean. I also had a snack of shrimps and avocado with toast together with a drink at one of the seafront tables outside reception. The breakfast buffet was small but perfectly adequate.

Single served environment
Reviewed By mknordstromFurtunatly for us we arrived before 17:00 (after which there is no staff at the location) because despite having booked a room for four persons there were only two (!!) beds. We were housed in the basement and there was no working heating besides the towel drier in the bathroom. Despite talk about environment friendliness they had single serving butter at the breakfast, which were somewhat a disappointment also when it came to the food. If you plan on visiting the park I would recommend trying to find a accomodation elsewhere.

We got the best view of Smogen. Live, eat and enjoy next to the ocean! Our establishment holds a hotel, restaurant and an extraordinary view. The Hotel has 14 rooms and gives you the familiar feeling. You can enjoy our sunbeds for free.

Reviewed By nepokitchenProbably a hostel before the the rooms price was increased, long noisy corridor with a couple of share toilets and share shower. the room was nice and clean with two comfortable single beds. the restaurant and outside area was well appointed, breakfast was ok. the outside deck area is picture perfect.

Overcharged with very simple standard
Reviewed By AndersG430We were warmly welcomed and given a key to the room. Then there was no staff on site. Tried to call when we were checking out but only got to an answering machine. Fire alarms in the room were dismantled and the cooling fan was broken. Very simple standard that is not worth about 320 Euro per night as we see it. But anyway we had a couple of nice days in Smögen and not least at Hållö lighthouse, and we would recommend a trip too the island. Only 15 minutes with a small charming ferry.

Clean and in a perfect location!
Reviewed By NicVic10My husband and I stayed here when visiting Smögen. We wanted to stay 2 nights but unfortunately there was only one available (a real shame as the next place we stayed was awful). We were greeted by a very nice lady who showed us around and then took us to our room and said if we needed anything just to come and ask her. The room was clean and modern. The location is fantastic as you are right by the sea, with plenty of swim areas. We would highly recommend anyone visiting to stay here.
