They helped us organising our tours and made our stay perfect with their daily smiles. The food is more than delicious! We are impressed and will definitely return very soon!

Thiouraye Lagoon is a hotel complex located in downtown Joal on the road to Samba Dia. It consists of a hotel with a modern lifestyle and a hostel with traditional and colorful rooms. The rooms are all equipped with bathroom and air conditioning in times of heat wave. Thiouraye Lagoon complex offers a unique setting for rest and relaxation. Close to the largest baobab in Senegal in terms of circumference (33m), the complex offers a panoramic view of the mangroves and offers various activities to enhance your stay. The area is conducive to ecotourism and promotes horseback riding, cycling or quad.
Great hotel at the lagune
Reviewed By PetraDelhiThis is a newly opened hotel with 3 rooms only and a good sized pool, located directly at the lagune. The owner Oumar is taking excellent care of his guests. Dinner was delicious. The rooms are very clean and had balconies, facing the lagune and the pool. It is a small and personal setting, excellent quality for money and hospitable hosts. We can highly recommend this hotel.

Reviewed By Polyglot2This is one of the best hotels in Joal, unfortunately that's because there's no choice. The staff are friendly enough, but the rooms aren't up to the usual standards. Again the staff are very honest and extremely trustworthy. However nobody is keen to remove the stray dogs, ask to eat on the rooftop terrace and make sure you get a good mosquito net.

Reviewed By beachbummer75This place is well located to the nearby tourist attraction - a mere 10 minutes walk to office where you regsiter for the the village tour and right at the beachfront. We liked this place as it was few rooms and quiet. We had a room at the back which is fine as we wanted some peace at night, after evenings with rooms next to live performances, bars etc. the rooms were very clean, tidy and big. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. the price was reasonable,service was fast for dinner and portions were generous. only thing was the greens were undercooked. Owner kept checking to make sure we were ok. Good find and recommended.

Nous avons libéré nos chambres un peu plus tard que prévu et il s'est montré très compréhensif. Et l'auberge est plutôt bien situé, à mi-chemin entre la gare routière et Fadiouth. Je recommande
