Reviewed By Grzegorz SWe have stayed in Altes Wasserwerk with a few colleagues. It is a really great great place! Pros: + great surroundings + super fast wifi + very silent (avoid rooms with windows directly to the church or you wi have wake up at 6am) Cons: - breakfest okay but not great Highly recommended!

Reviewed By steve1234749Visited for 2 nights during a heatwave, rooms offer little escape from the heat, if you like it hot in summer this is for you. The hotel is very nice apart from the heat, rooms are clean and staff are very helpful, the town is a very nice place to visit

Sehr schönes Hotel in sehr schönem Ort
Reviewed By JoeS0211An der Stadtmauer gelegen findet sich das Amtshaus, ein top saniertes Hotel im tadellosen Zustand. Von der Begrüßung bis zur Verabschiedung zeigten sich die dort Beschäftigten sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Beim Abendessen im Restaurant atable wurden wir allerbesten betreut und versorgt, es war ein wunderbares Dinner. Wirklich feine Weine wurden uns eingeschenkt. Das Hotel kann man ohne Einschränkung weiterempfehlen, nicht zuletzt auch, um die Schönheiten des Ortes , die vom Hotel alle in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen sind, kennenzulernen.

A Great Small Hotel and Restaurant
Reviewed By montyawnSpent two wonderful nights with Jeanette and Henning Weinheimer in Freinsheim this weekend during the annual "wine walk" through the vineyards. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Dinner was perfect!

Reviewed By JesusLoveUallNice place, clean and friendly. Could use a bit more maintenance since its last renovation. Carpet was stained by the refrigerator. Note stairs to climb to get to rooms, so if you have issues with stairs this is not the place for you. The room was cool with three windows, no a/c or fan.

Reviewed By Tina HDie FeWo ist super eingerichtet, bequeme Betten, tolle Bäder, viel Platz und Stauraum, es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Sie liegt zentral im Ort. Fußläufig sind Bäcker, Weinstuben und Restaurants erreichbar. Idealer Standort auch zum Radeln.

Reviewed By RedsilenceA small hotel with an adjacent restaurant that only opens from Thursdays to Sundays. Still, we enjoyed it. Not many thrills, the room (that we had) was rather small but clean and adequate. The breakfast was typical German, so don't expect bacon and eggs, but it was ample and quite tasty. We did have an evening in the restaurant, which was very pleasant and the food was well presented and enjoyable. Because of the exceptional heat, we ate in the garden and there was no hurry in moving us on, even though the evening became rather late. This is a 3-star hotel and yes, it could be better, but then we were on holidays and it did not matter. Everyone was rather friendly and a during morning rush hour- busy road was not really a problem. I would recommend this place, even though the price was slightly higher than expected--but then this is a well visited holiday region
