Reviewed By Matty_Gunning_81Wow, what more can I say. This hotel is class and in the heart of the Black Forest. The surrounding scenario is delightful and the little town of Oberprechtal is like going back in time (in a good way). It was a lovely drive from Strasbourg and a car is really a must to explore. There are hiking routes all around with direct access into the forest where you can walk around for hours and enjoy the experience. The room rate includes breakfast lunch and dinner and free access to the spa area. The staff really made an effort to make me and my dog feel welcome and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Top marks from me.

Reviewed By Wim HPositive: - family run hotel(?) -> very friendly people - good restaurant -> quite expensive though - very good breakfast. - large rooms, clean AND with a sofa. - nice area - parking space across the street - free bottle of water Negative: - Limited english , so you better speak German (or understand German) - the restaurant (bar) is open until late and was very loud (with singing / drunk people) which wake you up at night. Especially when they play the piano in the hall way. - no coffee / tea in the room

Great relaxed stay
Reviewed By Henrico LRooms are very clean, owners are really nice and helpfull. Breakfast is good and enough to chose from. In the evening you can eat in the restaurant, the menu of the day, no choice BUT delicious! And just 12 euro each person! Its a relaxed place, they make you feel at home and the surroundings are very nice. Enjoyed our stay!

Nice accomodation
Reviewed By Pilar GI had the opportunity of staying here with my family and we had a very good time. It is located in a very quiet village in the Dark Forest but the hotel is lovely and really comfortable. The owners were very kind and the breakfast is great. I would like to be back soon.

excellent location in the Black Forest
Reviewed By pinopinoRomeWe have been in this Pension last Easter 2009 with our families and we found it simply perfect! The owner, Frau Silke, is very very nice. The breakfast is so good and with such a lot of food (tasty bread, ham, home-made honey, exquisite butter and so on). Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet, and put everything at your disposal. The location is strategic to visit the Schwarzwald: just in the heart of the Forest! The view is super. I would reccomend this place to anyone who's visiting the Black Forest. Excellent!
