Lovely stay and host Marit
Reviewed By swedishadventurerIce and light is placed just by the riverside outside of Kalix. The igloos are cozy and made for you that want to relax without any distractions. We were there during the winter and Marit took great care of us! Showed us in and explained how everything worked and why certain things were like they were. While you’re here you can go out skiing on the river or take a nice trip on a kick-sled. We had a lovely time here and the food was so delicious! We had a big plate of tapas from Arvids matstudio, delivered to our door in the evening, and in the morning Marit came on a kick-sled with a perfect breakfast.

Great room, not the best view experience
Reviewed By SchwetskiWe stayed 1 night, hope to see the northern light. Unfortunately it didn't appear this time. The Igloo had an ok view, although we had hope for a view from the sealing above but the roof was covered with ice. The most of the igloo was covered with ice and snow, which made a less unique experience. The room was nice and cozy. Standard was great, including twin bed, shower/toilet and fridge. Breakfast is included and has great standard; Coffee, muffin, bread, juice and yoghurt.

Winter Wonderland
Reviewed By SDDanielleBeautiful resort, very cozy and clean cabins with own private sauna room which was a treat in February. Spectacular views of the Northern Lights right from the cabin window. Welcoming owner, Sebastian, and multi-talented employee, Emma, were exceptionally accommodating and treated us to snowshoeing up to a local viewpoint complete with a fire, hot chocolate and sausage. While the resort may be most popular in summer, we found this to be a fantastic winter experience. Better than advertised!!

Trots att de öppnade kl 12 så var deras pizzaugn ej varm utan vi fick vänta en halvtimma på att pizzan skulle gå att göra. Vi hade inget emot att vänta en stund. Vi beställde 2 kebabpizzor a 110 kr styck samt 2 drickor a 24 kr. När pizzan kom in så reagerade vi på att det var väldigt lite fyllning. Smaken var bra men eftersom det är så lite fyllning så kändes det mer som en smörgås. 110 kr för en smörgås är alldeles för dyrt. Det är just detta som gör att de kommer tappa kunder. Men smaken är bättre än många pizzerior i närområdet. Observera att detta är en camping med pizzaförsäljning och ej en pizzeria. Jag ger betyget 2 pga snålt med pålägg

Snowshoe hike
Reviewed By 527annhelenaI didn’t stay at the lodge since I am local, but I booked my extended family from Australia for a snowshoe hike. We had a wonderful time with the host Maelle hiking up a mountain to see the fantastic view of the area. We walked through a snow clad fairy tale landscape. When we arrive back at the camp a couple of hours later, Thierry had prepared an outdoor barbeque lunch. We enjoyed local delicacies sitting on reindeer skins around an open fire. I can highly recommend this place for the diverse nature experience any time of the year, as well as the accomodation and the fantastic and dedicated host couple.
