Reviewed By Helenb02Hi Just back from a 10 night stay - two adults and a 10 year old. Room We booked a deluxe sea view room and stayed in block 12. For us this was a perfect location, quiet, close to the beach, pool and main buffet restaurant. The beds were really comfortable and the bathroom was a good size and there was a good amount of storage. They also provide shower gel/shampoo etc, which was of good quality. Unfortunately our bed was only changed once and my daughters wasn't ever changed in 10 days. I've never experienced this before, and except more when staying 5 star. The hallway had a drink spilt on it and it took nearly a week for the floor to be cleaned again not a massive problem, but just not great. Grounds/pool/beach The gardens are beautiful but some of the paths near our block were dangerous. Uneven and bricks not laying flat. My daughter tripped several times. The pool area was lovely, but we could never get a sun lounger there. On the last day of half term they put an extra 20 beds out! Not sure why they couldn't have done this in preparation for half term? The beach is lovely but they need to clean it better and wipe down tables and bins at the end of the day as these were dirty and again not what I except when staying 5 star. The slides were great and well supervised by lifeguards. We loved them. Food/drink The food in the main restaurant was excellent. Such a fantastic choice! Probably the best we've experienced in turkey and I've been to quite a lot of AI hotels. Service was average and we didn't always get drinks quickly and sometimes they didn't get it right but I cant speak any Turkish so I would never complain about that. The luvi bar was the best for cocktails such a lovely place to sit after dinner. We are only ate at the boa grill (included) which was lovely, but I would have liked to have experienced the Turkish ala carte restaurant but this is 18plus. This is a shame that I can't eat Turkish food in turkey. If it was me id swap the fish restaurant with the Turkish restaurant as that's more suited to adults. They could also make more of the pizza restaurant. There are no starters and no desserts, it's literally pizza. So it's not really anything special. We actually went to the main restaurant for dessert. When checking out I rang for a buggy to help with luggage only to be informed that they didn't cover that area! Again not the type of service you except. Overall club marvy is lovely to does have a chilled out relaxed vibe. The service and cleaniness in areas could definitely be improved. Unsure if I would come back.

After being told it had been closed for over 2 yrs with Covid there wasn’t a spec of dust/dirt to criticise. Facilities amazing, slides for kids & adults separate ones, water sports on beach , games rooms gym, to many to mention. food HUGE selection and other restaurants to choose from other than main . Turkish massage spa area should definitely be done & on your first day before your sunburned skin needs tlc. They do not rip you off. The prices are set so you know what you get for you money. My son swopped a treatment for a shave in barbershop. Salish, Semiha, where our massage staff who my 21yr old son and myself felt very comfortable with. Madi & Ali where fantastic helpful staff speaking very good English so don’t be frightened to ask them anything. Very helpful. Thank you to them for giving a great Turkish massage experience. Our particular favourite area at this Hotel was the Patisserie. Just wow. Constructive criticism would be the entertainment, But the fact that we where there in May and the Hotel season had not started so budget entertainment was below very below the standard the rest hotel had. However as it filled up the outside evening entertainment started and …. It was extremely loud. The compare , speaking through every language would drop music out then blast it as a radio presenter would… loud then shout then loud etc. even around pool periodically through day, our party and others where irritated by it. Really think this needed reviewing for guest sake. We ended up always going to patisserie for dessert after dinner. But our whole holiday was beautiful, people very nice and would definitely recommend families and sole travers too as it’s such a safe complex. I will be returning and I give it 4.5 stars. It missed the other half star because of entertainment purposes. But wouldn’t stop us returning. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Reviewed By eshars2022Beautiful hotel with lots to do. The staff are kind and helpful as well as the people. Morning activities such as the water gym are really fun and engaging and fun. The night entertainment is also what makes the atmosphere here great.

Reviewed By marietadobrisThe food and drinks were delicious, the position was great, directly on the beach, but there were huge problems with the lifts. Although the managers on duty could notice the lifts were out of service because they were in front of them, nobody did anything. Also there were no glasses in the rooms, not even for the toothbrushes.

All the people working there were really nice and friendly, everybody asked if i needed something, the service was on top, large choice of meals and drinks. It’s a lot of space around hotel, big swimming pool, sea view from every room.

Bad hotel
Reviewed By suchp2019There was hardly any breakfast ( compared to other Istanbul hotels) . Dingy dark storage room for dinning rooms. Don’t stay here . Shower is bad - hot water flows for less than 1 minute and the freezing cold water. Force of water is terrible, you will literally have to sit on the tap to get some water.

Reviewed By Gustavo SThe sea water was the only great thing we found in máxima bay. Bar employees are nice but there is no product, the wine is horrible, there is no cocktails, there is no lounge bar, food is not good with a badly set restaurant and always over busy during meal times. House keeping is also disappointing, and entertainment is 0. I went for 10 day vacation with my wife and 2 kids, we were so disappointed, we clearly overcharged, the hotel is 3 stars not 4.
