Szeged Observatory

We present public observations and popular scientific talks to our visitors at every open day. The topics of these talks are chosen among the most popular fields of astronomy: the objects of our Solar System, the future of space travelling, the discovery of new worlds and many others, all of them in the interpretation of professional astronomers. Presentations are accompanied by spectacular pictures and interesting background stories; moreover, we answer all your questions with pleasure (we are happy to answer your questions during and after the presentations).

There is a little place to sit right across. It is in downtown so the area is very popular and busy all day in the summer. Just looking at it makes you feel good. The colors are pastel soft, the details are just exquisite. If you have an opportunity to see inside do not miss. There is ice cream in the exterior and many coffee shops and restaurants along the side. It was designed by Ede Magyar, Art-Nouveau style.

Mora Ferenc Muzeum

I had a lot of information of what I wanted to visit before arriving to any city. It broke my heart to know it was closed for repairs-remodeling...whatever....Of what we could see it was not going to be a fast fix. I don't know how anyone being there in August 2019 could have seen anything but the obvious. Just repairs, closed to the public.
