Reviewed By Parkavenue7275Our stay here was great. We stayed 3 days in a 900 year old castle, how many people can say that? The bathrooms we're well acquainted and fully functional, albeit the showers where are very small. Quite frankly, I was surprised at the generous size of the rooms and the bathrooms that we rented. The accommodations were quite comfortable, and we did not have any issues with the rooms. It seems to me that they did a good job of marrying comfort with the historical authenticity of the castle. There is also a restaurant on site which was very good oh, we found the food to be delicious! When you visit here, do not pass up the museum they have on-site, they really have some fascinating exhibits.

Being so dog-friendly was an added benefit, Lily very much enjoyed her time in your garden and the adjoining woods. Thank you Luca and Nicla for your warmth, hospitality and kindness. We cannot wait to visit again!

Reviewed By HellenK15Villa placed near Fidenza, among beautiful Italian hills. The building looks very ancient and modern at the same time. Here are the restaurant and apartments. In front of the villa is free parking, it’s too important for travelers in Italy. And, unfortunately, we had no possibility to use the pool existed, because of the winter, but necessarily for the next time! Our apartment was too big and so comfortable. There are zones of bedroom, living room. Very traditional Italian hardwood floors and so romantic windows look to the sky! By the way, everything is high technological, so you can to close the window in the cell from the Sun and ordinary windows as well. It’s very silent. As we travelled with baby, it was so pleasure for us to manage the heating temperature inside. Bathroom is so modern and warm. It’s so rarity in winter Italy! Kitchen was full of tasty dishes, such as pancakes, sweets, biscuits. As La Ratta produces its personal wine, we tasted some kinds and it was perfect! Especially Malvasia!!! Great Thank to the owner Massimo! He gave us great hospitality, and support when our baby felt bad. Massimo made us an excursion in his wine factory, which is for 500meters from the villa. It was so interesting to know such a lot about wine producing technology. So, we bought different wines there! I think you should to visit it’s place, so We will visit it for sure!

Reviewed By pietro90This was our annual visit to Italy and the hotel had not changed. The welcome was warm and the three sisters were as friendly and helpful as before. The food is terrific, regional and very reasonably priced.Nothing is too much trouble and the chef will cook anything you fancy even if its not on the menu. Its a great base for visiting the castles and cities in the area
