Nice motel if you are just looking for a bed and hot shower.
Reviewed By tampie85It's more an (American style) motel than a hotel. Reception and restaurant are in a separate building and rooms are in an apartment block. It's a bit tired and dated, but the rooms are very clean. The bed was a bit hard and lumpy. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is right next to the motorway. Restaurant is not always staffed, but there's a McDonald's next door. Room is very hot and has no air conditioning. Window can be opened, but you risk getting gnats in. Breakfast is sufficient and fresh.

For me, they have set a new benchmark and the truth is, when you travel a lot, you know what counts, as said of the owner, true for me, I believe, too. Not only are rooms welcoming and stylish, you are met with respect. Wine, prosecco, other drinks, are abundantly available in good quality in the room - you just fill the 'honesty' tab yourself. A well equipped kitchenette would cater for your short and long term stay. Another highlight is the breakfast: Welcoming smiles, perfect coffee and a sunday breakfast with only the best food will wait for you. A picky food nerd like me wants to return as soon as possible. Thank you for everything!

Superbly cozy and elegant hotel
Reviewed By Danguole LWe had a pleasure to stay with my colleague in this lovely and elegant hotel. We also had a dinner in hotel’s brassiere. We had such a wonderful experience thanks to warm staff, cozy ambiance, clean rooms. I was also lucky to get a canal view room, what a cherry on a cake! :) I would highly recommend this hotel as well as a dinner in brassiere. My colleague wanted to slow down her eating just to prolong her delicious experience :)

Very nice hotel
Reviewed By TM2205Hotel Gorinchem, was a surprisingly nice place to have an overnight stay, the interior decor is nice, and the room as wellm, very comfortable. WIFI worked well. Breakfast was okay, only one thing about these hotels where a lot af the guests are working service technicians that work away from home, they are allowed to sit in their dirty workwear, I don't understand that.

Reviewed By 494henkpVery nice small hotel with personal attention from staff. Nice spacious rooms with great views, however if you are tall, you will find the toilet space to small. The heating is one AC module just above the bed, blowing directly on the bed which is inconvenient and it took a long time before the room warmed up. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good at the restaurant in the same building. Paid parking at nearby public outside unsupervised parking

Veel op aan te merken!
Reviewed By José KNa meerdere keren aanbellen, vraagt een vrouwenstem in gebrekkig Engels wat ik kom doen. Bij het openen van de benedendeur blijkt het een Aziatische vrouw te zijn, die slechts enkele woorden gebrekkig Nederlands spreekt. Ze brengt me naar de gereserveerde kamer 3 op de tweede verdieping. Ook vraagt ze me om meteen € 70,00 te betalen, aangezien ik haar of de eigenaar Mark niet meer zal zien. Het ontbijt -bestaande uit 2 witte en 2 bruine boterhammen, een half karafje jus d'orange, een plakje kaas en een paar plakjes vleeswaren- staat al klaar in het lawaaiige kleine koelkastje. De kamer ziet er uit als op de foto's, maar blijkt slecht onderhouden. Het kozijn is verrot en verveloos. De verf op de muur in de badkamer bladdert en bij het opendoen van de kraan spuit het water in het rond. Bovendien is er geen raambedekking voor het badkamerraam. Het gezamenlijke toilet is piepklein; je zit met je knieën tegen de deur (waar aan de onderkant een stuk uit is gezaagd). De knop van het spoelmechanisme ontbreekt nog steeds. Het meest vervelende is, dat de eigenaar Mark en zijn partner precies boven kamer 3 wonen en het huis zeer gehorig blijkt. Tot 01.00 uur(!) 's nachts blijven ze precies boven mijn hoofd rommelen, praten en schuiven met voorwerpen. Op mijn geroep om stilte reageren ze niet. Wat een waardeloze b&b: een onverschillige eigenaar die zijn pand niet goed onderhoudt, geen enkel contact heeft met zijn gasten (wat vaak de charme is van een b&b) en geen rekening houdt met hun aanwezigheid. De prijs staat niet in verhouding met de geleverde kwaliteit. 's Ochtends verlaat ik het pand zonder verder iemand te zien.
