Reviewed By DanielnelsonofficialThere is not much choice in Nouadhibou and this is one of the better hotels. Having said that, this hotel is quite horrible. The hotel is dark, rundown and bleak. The rooms are derelict. The breakfast is a stale baguette with jam. There is a shower with hot water, but the water pressure is low and the showerhead squirts water in all directions. The wifi is decent. The hotel's location is good. It is next to a Spanish restaurant with delicious food. It is also next to the airport. Nouadhibou unfortunately does not have good hotels. I would recommend this place if you want some comfort after time in the desert. Just don't expect too much and certainly don't expect a warm atmosphere.

A good place for train recovery & working
Reviewed By drnorthI spent one night at Hotel Free Zone after my trip riding on top of the Mauritanian Iron Ore Train. I arrived dirty and exhausted and the hotel felt like an oasis. I will say the hotel doesn't have charm, but it was immaculately clean and had all he amenities one could need in Nouadhibou. My room was a suite really: huge with to bathrooms, a living room, workspace, and bedroom. Lots of toiletries, tea, coffee, kettle, tv, AC etc. Most importantly for me at that moment: hot water, a good shower, fluffy towels, and a comfortable bed. Also, the wifi was very good, which was important as I had some work to catch up on. The service was very good and the young man at the desk helped me organize a car to Nouakchott. The hotel is a bit pricy, but for a comfortable stay or if you need to get work done, I think this is a good option in Nouadhibou

Aux toilettes, je me rend compte qu’il n’ya pas d’eau.. Gérant imbus de sa personne et insolent! Service médiocre! Personnel à former ou changer! Hotel à éviter!

Very comfortable hotel
Reviewed By EvaOFVery nice, brand new and clean hotel, with comfotable and quiet rooms. Very good breakfast and nice cofee-room. The staff is very dedicated and educated. It is a really good hoyel to stay in Nouadhibou and highly recommended!
