Worst experience for an all inclusive hotel
Reviewed By yesimeralpWe were here for a congress meeting, but had some time for leisure as well. The rooms were clean and our stay was whole board. There was water, coffee or tea in the room when we first came, but they were not supplied daily. The ac was not working and I had a terrible time at night fighting with the mosquitoes, since I had to keep the balcony door open because of the heat. The service was not good although the hotel was not full. Most of the personnel was not trained adequately and the service was poor. The food was mediocre and drinks very low quality. What was disturbing most was that the sales department wanted to know who I was and where I came from just to give me information about the current price for one room. I never liked all inclusive resorts, but this hotel was the worst experience ever.

Meryem’s is a grand looking boutique hotel with a humble Cypriot story. The property was built as a home for the family that today run it, and Meryem is the name of the lady who created it. At age 9, when Meryem and her parents were forced to leave war torn Cyprus to take refuge in the UK, Meryem envisioned that she would return and build a house ‘bigger’ than the one-room traditional Cypriot family house she left behind, and that remains in her village Pile. Her dream was to build a grand house with four Doric columns, surrounded by its own lush garden blooming with plants, flowers and fruits of Cyprus, and encircled by a gold trimmed gate. Reviewed By bettybX4001WURelaxing small hotel with excellent service. Had a larger room upstairs with a view over the mountains which we liked. Since our last visit the pool has been finished and is very nice. Lovely breakfast. All round good value for money.

The food was great and the view from the sea view bedroom was simply stunning… The pool on the top floor over looked the sea, so amazing views. The harbour is a 5/10 minute walk and a small beach in walking distance. I would recommend this hotel for its location and wonderful staff.
