We decided late Sunday night to go to Koh Pha-ngan on Monday for a day trip. We were able to book efficiently on their website and pay by credit card in order to pick up tickets at the check in counter at Bangrak pier. Best part is that now due To the special circumstances the ferry was not crowed. We could move around freely and sit wherever we wanted. The ferry appears well maintained and safe. No cars, Only persons, and we were there in 35 minutes.Needless to say, views from ferry were magnificent.

5 star for a great service of Lomprayah officers that helped me to retrieve my wallet, which I had forgotten on the boat while disembarking. With a lot of money inside, I didn't have much hope that it will be returned but it was! The ladies in the office were super nice and super professionsl! Thank you Lomprayah!

I was very nearly put off booking with Raja ferries given all the awful reviews scattered across the web. Slightly anxious about our journey, we set off and much to our surprise everything went very smoothly. I understand that people have of course had bad experiences but I just feel that it should be known that this is not always the case. Their orginisation really stood out to us. It is true that their ferries are quite old and the black smoke was slightly alarming, however, Raja along with their bus partner, Phantip, got us from Thong Sala pier all the way to our hotel in Ao Nang with relative comfort and no stress, in fact the seats on the ferry were very comfy and it I would even go as far as saying the bus journey was luxury. It is quite likely that most people will only leave a review when they've had a bad experience whilst there are hundreds of passengers each day who get safely and cheaply from one destination to another with Raja. I wouldn't usually be inclined to write a review for this sort of thing but wanted to try and reassure anyone out there who is afraid to use this service.
