Comfortable and clean with a helpful staff
Reviewed By ATL_MommyI stayed for almost two weeks in late November, renting the one-bedroom suite for a very reasonable rate. The kitchen included a refrigerator, cook top, basic utensils and pots/pans. There are two grocery stores within walking distance (the one in the middle of town has better supplies) and I was able to cook all my meals at the hotel. The room has an outdoor balcony with a small table and chairs, and overlooks a neighboring plant nursery and, behind this, mostly jungle. It was a beautiful, peaceful place to enjoy morning coffee and dinner watching the sun rise/set. Most things in town are within easy walking distance. There is a public running track nearby, if you can manage to make your way past the neighborhood dogs!

Guest room with funky, basic appointments on second floor overlooked street and a bit of the harbor off in the distance. You need a car in Colonia. There’s a serious problem with dogs everywhere if you try to walk down the streets after bedtime, which here is often 9:00pm. They growl and often attack, some without warning. So the Seabreeze like elsewhere will call you a taxi (usually one dollar per person per stop if in town). The Seabreeze can arrange for drivers to take you around town. We had Calvin and Eric and they were polite, funny and obliging. They took us snorkeling. It’s not easy to walk to markets in Colonia so taxis are a way off life. Power outages frequently. But Pohnpei people are hotel staff are warm and friendly if unprofessional.

Reviewed By Jeff CThe room was very clean, even though the bathroom lacked proper drainage and ventilation. Great view of the bay and tall ceilings on the second floor mage the room rather homey and comfortable. AC is in perfect working condition and wifi is very good, with a few minor kinks here and there. Unfortunate they don't have room service. Staff very friendly.

Reviewed By Z4509UGdonjThe shower was stopped up. Big hole in the wall where the smoke detector used to be. The beds are hard. The TV didn’t work. The bath tub is cracked. No blanket, no bedding, just a sheet,No coffee machine . Fridge smelled like a dead fish was in it. Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever stayed at in my life. If you ever get a chance to stay at this place, pass it up.

Avoid at all cost: A dump where you will get sick
Reviewed By BBtravelsWorldThis is the most shockingly disgusting place we have ever seen and the staff and owners (Yvonne, whom we communicated with "runs" the place while living in California!!!) should NOT be in the hotel business. The room was extremely dirty (ants all over) and with so much mildew that we got quite sick. At 115$ a night, this is a very expensive place for the island (in fact more than the newest luxury resort) and they do NOT even clean the room, bed was never made, and they do not give you any toiletries. Upon asking, we were told to go to the store. The hotel is a shame for the entire country as the people are trying to get tourism off the ground but it will never work with such a dump. Truly a disgusting and shocking place. And, for got to add, the room smelled quite bad. Just gross.
